Hah hah. Myopia is bliss, eh? 58% of Democrat senators voted for the Iraq resolution. Put it on Bush if you must, but Dems played a might active role in that rush to war. I know: you won't read the links.

Your example doesn't address the question though: is there any administration that has thumbed its nose on a daily basis at the rule of law? Not like this preznit's....

I know why you turn immediately to demonization instead of making a righteous point (as if you could).

And the rest were Republicans. I love how in your world everything has to have a political slant.

AJ is right, if preznit is the only clever word you can use, why bother?

You're making a $hit tonne of assumptions there Gary.

Two questions:

1) Why do you assume I believe only Republicans supported the war?

2)Why do you think I don't care about the Democrats supporting the war?

I never supported the Iraq war. Not once. I think the Bush administration was wrong to push for it and Blair was wrong to support him.

How about you?

Benghazi was an intelligence failure. An intelligence failure that happened under the Obama administration.

Again: it's not the crime, it's the coverup.

The latest emails show the preznit's advisors madly spinning; doing whatever, saying whatever was necessary to prevent these Americans deaths from looking exactly like what they were: a "broader failure of policy". And since this was right before the general election and since the preznit had continually brayed about how he'd beaten back the Islamofascists, the story of Islamic terror against American interests had to be quelled ASAP. Thus was born the cockamamie story of "internet video causes spontaneous murders", which was flogged ad nauseum on the Sunday news shows.

Shameless.

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I wouldn't. The Blair government cooked up an intelligence dossier at the behest of the US government (to persuade the EU) which was presented to the UN (by Colin Powell I believe) which made very specific claims about Iraqs weapons. Claims that were highly suspect at the time and largely discredited.

Yeah, it's all a huge spinfest. I hate it.

Right. A kangaroo court. The outcome is predetermined. Now they just need to work the evidence towards that outcome. Very similar to how we got into Iraq, to be honest.

This whole "outrage" from Benghazi is to strike a blow against Hillary in the next election. That's all it is, that's the reason conservatives talk about it constantly. So ridiculous. No one actually cares that people were killed. They just want a big scandal they can use against Democrats in the next election cycle. The politics of everything is so inflated at this point having a rational conversation about anything political is a joke. All the wrongs of the world can be blamed on the party that least supports your beliefs. Yeah right, at this point, you're the idiot if you don't swallow the liberal or conservative ideology whole. The concept of political moderation on the national stage went out with the dial up modem.
