I know you're being a bit of a smart ####### saying this, but the answer for that is a complete NO! I ruptured my Achilles tendon in China and what happened after that was a complete and utter nightmare of experiences in the Chinese medical system. And, I was in the best hospitals available to mostly foreigners in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

America previously enjoyed the best doctors, hospitals, medical care and emergency services in the world. No other country is even close to what we once had. After several surgeries in China for an infection to my leg, I was transferred to a hospital in Sydney, Australia, where they have socialized medical care. They still have a form of private care in most of their hospitals, but the hospitals are run like factories in my view.

In many ways China remains third-world. They have serious problems with corruption and pollution. I've been inside their hospitals and watched as families brought in dead or dying relatives by taxi. I've seen the stained walls and dirty floors, and looked at spoke to young doctors in dirty lab coats. They've got a long way to go.

I know some of you are trying hard to pin an everything in China is great label on me, but dudes, it just ain't gonna stick. I lived there for six years. I know personally what's happening there. I've seen the best and worst of it.

You're doing a fine job of that all by yourself.

I think someone called you a liberal

I thought I was the only liberal here

I think someone called you a liberal

I thought I was the only liberal here

I wondered if anyone would pick up on that. I've been called a lot of things here, but liberal has never been one of them.
