My CN is 2015EU00043XXX.

1) Does it mean that my only chance to win the visa is if the status in the visa bulletin is going to be CURRENT? Cause I dont think that the cut off number will be higher than my CN.

2) Since 2006 all years ended up with CURRENT. Does it mean that all this years all high CNs won?

3) Do you know any example when in a year someone won visa with a CN bigger than the cut off number for that year?

Your last question doesn't make sense. You can't have an interview without your number being current, so it is impossible for someone with a higher CN to have a visa. Unless you mean where they stated "current" and then compared to the previously published cut off, yes of course, otherwise they would not have changed the cutoff number. If you are confused from seeing posts by those people who cannot read what is plainly stated in the visa bulletin about what current means, be assured I know someone AF97xxx who received a visa, and AF has only reached those numbers (so far) when the bulletin has switched to "current".

As for your chances, no idea. Keep watching the visa bulletin for this year. We hear KCC are aiming to get EU numbers to current, and if they manage to do it this year it will be very positive for DV2015 as there are fewer winners for 2015.

In my last question I compared current to the previosly published cut off. For example lets take Visa Bulletin for 2013 year. For Europe current is present there in august and september and before that there is a cut off of 33000 in July. My question is if there is somebody with a CN bigger than 33000 for that year who was invited for an interview in august or september when the cut off was current.

I think there was no higher numbers than 33k in EU. At least I have not seen any. Maybe somebody else has a better idea about max EU number in 2013??

I don't know for Europe specifically in 2013, but the answer to your question in general is yes, I already said I knew of it happening in Africa

in my reply to you.

Why do you think they would bother to say "current" rather than leaving it at a cut-off number if it didn't mean anyone could go for an interview?

Why do you think the Visa Bulletin specifically says that if a category is current there are visa numbers available for everyone in that category?

Thats weird. Because in 2013 there was CURRENT for 2 months.

I hope that in this year if there will be CURRENT and if somebody with a CN higher than the last cut off will be invited to an interview, he will inform us about this.

Ok so you are just absolutely ignoring my two responses telling you precisely what current means and that people with what you call higher cut offs have been interviewed.

I will be sure to not bother wasting time trying to respond to your questions in future.

I hope that this is true, and people with high CN have been interviewed. But you told me about only one such case, one AF CN. I would like to hear about more such examples.
