Hello.. We are planning to schedule my husband for medical on may8. I have one concern, he recently got the mmr vaccine last april29,2014. He has not had chickenpox before so im sure that they will require him for the varicella vaccine but since it wont be a months time since the mmr vaccine i'm worried that his medical wont be completed. Has anyone encountered this problem? Are they lenient to trust you to have the varicella given at the end of the month? Im worried since his interview is on may15.

I believe that he can get the mmr and varicella (chicken pox) vaccine at the same time. If he does not get it, it will be incomplete. After 1 mo he can get the 2nd shot if needed. the second shot should not be regarded as incomplete since it is not time to get it yet. Hope this helps.
