Well, it wasnt a USCIS update, just an update from my attorney that they have replied to the RFE. I'll keep you posted to any USCIS web changes.

Hi! So I applied this morning the lady was very nice, it took 10 mins, I gave my passport, EAD and marriage certificate (they make copies) and she gave me a letter as a proof that I applied to show to my employer. She said "you'll receive your card in a week". :)

They gave me a piece of paper that showed my SSN# that I could take to the DMV or my employer should they ask in the meantime. The piece of paper proofs that you were at the SSN office and you are just waiting to receive the actual card in the mail, which takes about a week( at least for me it did).

hi guys, my EAD card is sent to my address. I am wondering why my I 485 did not move on update status!! Do I have to some green card interview or this is normal way how it goes? First EAd card notification email, and then the green card too?

Hi Dzsamelia, usually EAD/AP get approved before your green cards, giving you permission to work and earn money while you wait for your green card, after your green card is approved, you wont need the EAD/AP to anymore, as your green card automatically give you the permission to work and travel. It is either you are interviewed or mailed a notice of potential interview waiver form before your green card can be approved.

Big thank you!! I just also called USCIS, they were okay,

but if i wanna check out the waiting time on i485 on USCIS website, there is no option for family based visa chacking processing time!! they should be fix this, just shwoing something data out!! :) :)
