Received our RFE letters (received notification of RFE on Monday by text and email, so not too slow!), and they asked us to "provide a certified copy of your marriage certificate or a legal copy of your name change".

It's utter crazyness, because I actually sent the original copy that was given to us at the court house, which made my wife upset (because she wanted to keep the original).

Can't believe it's something so simple, that we already provided them. Well, it's easy to correct, just down to the courthouse to get copies in the morning.

If anyone see's any fault in my logic, please let me know.... Maybe it just SEEMS to easy....

Your case has made me scared too, I attached a certified copy with I-485 and I-765 application but my I-131 application only had a photocopy of that certified copy, since I was short of an actual certified copy when making the application.

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

regards RFE on marriage certificate, I am guessing they lost the original copy you sent with your application, I only sent one photocopy of my marriage certificate for I-488, I-765 and I-131, I got RFE for just sponsors proof of employment.

Uuuuuuhm got another text that my file was moved to my local office(Memphis TN).. I hope I hear from them soon.. ION I had 3 interviews last week and they all offered me the job.. You guessed it right.. I took the one that paid me more..lol I pray that all May filers can get there EAD/green card very soon

Hello all!

I've noticed that some of you May filers have been going to job interviews while your Combo card is not yet on hand. My question is, how soon did you guys do the job hunt after biometrics? What do you say to the employer on an interview given that you don't have your Work permit yet?

Thanks for answering! I am a June filer and is done with the Biometrics. I am thinking of starting to job hunt as well so any insights from you guys would be appreciated.
