We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

Just got an update that my EAD is approved but ap shows initial review. Is it gonna be a combo ? Planning to travel next week. How long does it take to get EAD from card production ?

I have read it takes up to ten days. Are you travelling out of the United States?

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

Well I am the USC and I called USCIS to see about a status update, and guess what? They can't speak to me even though I started this whole process on a K-1. They have to speak to the applicant only. That is really stupid...I am the one sponsoring him. Why the heck did I have to give all my information (except my blood type) if they can't speak to me?

I'm also the USC and my husband doesn't speak English...when I called last week they wouldn't tell me anything. I told the guy "He can't talk to you...he doesn't speak English" and he told me I could be the translator.

I was so pissed...I was at work at the time and I was thinking I can just grad anyone and act as if I'm translating.

I don't ever say anything but I read all the post everyday....and I'm about OVER this whole process!!!

Looking at the time line chart and we have more GREEN than WHITE.

Whew, it's been a long path.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
