Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

Yeah there really was no need for that comment, please don't say stuff like that again. :(

No one gets it easier from USCIS for their sexuality, in fact, I think it was only recently that they began allowing same-sex I-129f applications, so if anything, it's harder for same sex couples.

I think some people have been a little on edge in the past few days. However, regardless of the reason for your stress, no one should be judged either by how long they've been pursuing their permanent residency status or their sexuality.

This should however not ruin our lovely forum.

But anyway, 50 days and counting.

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

I think he/she was surprised that I called out the comment but the intended message was about me having some sort of preferential treatment or privilege somewhere along the way. The comment about being gay was absurd and a vain attempt to cover up the original comment 'people like you'

I've been in and out of the immigration system in this country since 1984. I had a green card once upon a time. I put my life savings into a business here and pay taxes. Lots of taxes.

Don't ever assume you know someone or their story, or luck, or privilege or lack of, from 10 posts on an Internet forum.

Since I'll guarantee anyone here my full immigration story would be far too personal to fully spell out, I cannot assume I am alone on this forum and thetefore wish every one of you the best of luck in this country and in this difficult process

Where does one see this " Testing&Interview "?

On the USCIS website. You either make an account or just put your receipt number under Enter your receipt number on https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do%C2'>

That's where you check your status. I know there is no "Testing and Interview" step on there, but it will appear when it changed to it. (probably because not all immigration processes require that step).

And I have no idea how to see a doctor either! I don't know if the regular doctor can treat me or if I have to go to a specific kind about it x_x so confusing!!
