They wanted a letter from my wife's employer showing the nature of the job, if there's a promotion possibility in the future. All this seems nonsense since because we included a letter with the package describing the nature of the job and pay stubs showing all the info

I hope this means they are slowly getting closer to the rest of our applications.

Seems like they ask quite a few people for the same thing twice.

Could they be misplacing the documents or just buying more time. This really doesn't make sense.

I guess there is a good chance they misplace things a lot. I think I remember reading this thing one time where this guy was an ex ajudicator and he said they would like, get your package, take out the check (of course that's the first thing ) and then take it all apart and put it in the order they want.

So I'm guessing when they take it all apart they could drop papers and lose stuff

I arranged mine in a good order I think?

I had I-485 in one bit with supporting docs, I-864 in another bit with supporting docs, and then EAD and AP in completely different parts. Hopefully it made it easier on them but who knows xD

hi guys, just a short comment about rfe.... we sent off mine almost a month ago and no updates on the web site. my husband called today to uscis call center, and some lady after asking us when we sent it off and when it was delievered said: i see that your rfe was recieved...(to my mind she just repeated what we said) and still....no real updates on the web.
