Yeah, I would agree. For example - I'm grateful to be already living here legally for the last 10 years but in another sense, since I own a business here, employ Americans, have already gone through background checks, fingerprints, interviews etc for my current visa, you would think someone like me shouldnt have to wait 10 years to get a 'permenant' status. I think each and every one of us has the right to be irritated about wait times and procedure.

Anyway, back to check the mail box again...lol

Exactly! It's hard for everyone, no matter how long the wait is.

I just called USCIS again and asked for tier 2, they said I shouldnt have any problems on my processing, I should be getting my EAD/AP approved soon.

The guy also said, the average to approval from acceptance date is 69 days. I'm already pass that, so hopefully I will get a txt soon about my approval :) :)

AOS

4/30/2014 AOS/EAD/AP mailed
5/1/2014 USCIS received our papers
5/6/2014 NOA Date for all my applications

5/29/2014 Biometrics done in Detroit
moved to Minneapolis, MN June 10th
6/10/2014 RFE regarding my birth certificate(It was their own mistake, my birth certificate was exactly what they need)
6/11/2014 RFE response mailed to USCIS by our lawyer
6/11/2014 I-485 status moved to Initial review after telling USCIS our new address
7/2/2014 I-485 status moved to Testing and Interview

7/21/2014 EAD to card/document production yayy :)

7/22/2014 AP status chagend to post desicion activity

7/25/2014 EAD combo card mailed

7/29/2014 EAD combo card arrived at my old address(address was changed TWO times before that, even by my lawer and USCIS still had my old address)

-my parents-in-law are sending it to me overnight

Travelled to Finland with my husband for 3 weeks in August. Came back with my Advance Parole, POE in Chicago, no problems with AP.

10/7/2014 Interview date

10/8/2014 I485 status moved to card/document production! HAPPY :)

You guys r worrying too much.Just relax everybody.NO NEED TO CONTACT CONGRESSMAN OR PRESIDENT OBAMA.some ppl r waiting for the whole life or have absolutely no chances obtaining anything. So be happy and grateful for what u have!

I am relaxed. But if no-one says anything ever, then nothing will ever get fixed.

I am with you. Your wait should be days, rather than weeks. Checks for someone like you is ludicrous. Heck anyone on K-1 shouldn't have to wait also, as we have been scrutinized and checked in the K-1 process.

Totally agree.

If we continue to be 'okay' with the wait and the expense, they're gonna continue doing it that way

It's really sad that all of us came here legally and have to wait for a GC when there are people who come here illegally and do things illegally and don't seem to be punished for it

Sadly the reason we have to get investigated all over again is because of all the fraud that goes on. The people who marry just for a green card and divorce the day they get it. it's those people who ruin it for everyone else :/

RFE update - Got mine today.

Have to prove sponsor income, which is kind of ridiculous.

My sponsor jointly filed his last years income with his wife. Owns a very successful company, several properties, cars etc. However, doesn't take a big paycheck. Doesn't have too.

All of the properties, business turnover etc are on last years tax returns, which my lawyers have already. So, I'm not sure what good sending them another round of 1040's, K1's, W2's is going to do.

The guy is well off, just doesn't get paid a lot, week to week.
