I mailed a copy of the federal tax return printed from turbo tax online, I am not sure if that's the reason, I am not sure how long it takes to get the tax transcript directly from IRS?

It took about a week for ours, but they will send them to the last address you used when you filed taxes, so keep that in mind if you have moved ^^ they send my husbands to his parents house haha

Hello Achraf, I know eh, small world, yet we have something in common.....USCIS. lol, whats your RFE on?

I got RFE based on a silly mistake, my spouse makes above 39,000 for two people. .we got married in May. , but on the RFE, it says I should send a proof of recent tax papers, W2 and pay stub.

Honestly, my spouse didn't file this year taxes because he made a lot of money as a single man, and he was asked to pay some money back, due to our marriage expenses, we both agreed to extend it, not knowing it will come affect us.

I am so confused, can one use the extension approval from Turbotax as evidence?

My spouse make around 62K, we sent the pay stubs for the last 6 months ( at the time we filed my AOS ) and clearly it states where my spouse work and what agency she's affiliated with, also we included a letter explaining why we don't have the tax return for 2012 and 2011 which also we indicated WHERE she works and still they sent us the RFE requesting a letter from the employer and the nature of the job and if there is a chance of promotion within the next few years ... Really

You can get the tax transcript online and just print it out. http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

So what document are you going to mail to them, seems odd after sending pay stubs for 6 months?

I am so confused, the only document missing is the 2013 tax returns, of which we have a letter from turbotax that our extension was approved till Oct. 2014.

And I still got RFE asking for so much on sponsor? they just want to frustrate people.
