Wow. Where are you based ? I filed two days before you and haven't had an interview date. I guess I am not blessed. You could either keep it or they"ll ask you to send in. Not sure

Thank you but please dont think that way. We all are blessed. Each case is different and I believe that God has different time for each person. I've being married for a long time but just now I was able to apply for my AOS. Your turn will come soon. ??? Thanks again.

So we finally got our rfe in the mail yesterday.

It says my husband must submit a federal income tax to the irs for2013.

My husband has already donr this we submitted all his tax info for the last 4 years and his w2 forms.

So why are they only asking for 2013 ??.

Anyone know what I need to send them ???

So you did send them the 2013 tax return?

If so that's odd for them to send an RFE for that, I'm guessing they lost it or something. What you could try is ordering a tax transcript for 2013 maybe? And send that along with another copy of 2013 tax return itself

Or maybe one of the papers for the tax return was lost, as I know they want the entire thing

I mean I think they prefer tax transcripts, over returns. But if you send both that's even better ^^

I'd wait for more replies here though, or make a topic and ask what other VJ people think I'm just giving my opinion of what i would do

We sent tax return for each year 2009- 2013.

Did you send the tax return forms or the tax transcripts? As otter mentioned, the tax transcripts are more reliable than the returns from the government's point of view. You can download them for free at:

I have a question. My interview is in one week and I'm still waiting on my EAD card, so what happening if I get the approval after? What do I do with my card?

My partner sent his tax transcript 2 years from IRS and for year 2013, he sent his self prepared tax return with forms and bunch of assets and saving account copies. So far we haven't received any RFE ( I am not wishing them either ). And our case have moved to testing and interview. USCIS explicitly states both returns and transcripts are acceptable.

I guess they just lost them. :/ I wish they would just admit that they did instead of sending us RFES which can be scary xD they should just say they lost it can we get sent another etc
