I called them a week today and they claimed they're forwarding that to those responsible to send that but it's still not in. I'm not really stressed on this AOS thing; I really really appreciate the love and concern y'all have shown on my case though.

I'd be sure to update y'all as soon as I hear from them.

Yeah Americanlife definitely should have gotten their biometrics by now. I think they are supposed to send out the bio letter a few days after NOA1. Definitely give USCIS a call and tell them you haven't gotten an appointment for biometrics yet. There's a chance the letter might have reached the wrong place, or something like that!

Also, everyone reacts differently to stuff. Some of us may be able to wait patiently and calmly, but others may worry almost all day about it. After all, AOS is a big deal! It determines whether we get to stay living with our loved ones or not. Thankfully for K1 AOS'ers, our journey is a little smoother and so we don't have to worry so much, whereas people adjusting from VWP or who are out of status, they are going to be more worried and I think that we should do our best to support eachother. Sometimes things in the process go wrong, things get lost, statuses don't get updated. I think people were concerned that Americanlife hasn't got their biometrics letter yet as, judging by everyone else's timeline, they should have received it by now. We just was looking out for them and making sure their process goes smoothly ^^

Agree with u completely.Crossing fingers for AmericanLife. :) . Im out of status for 7 years and i worry and afraid to get denied for any reason.Bc i wanna be with my husband and i cant go back to my country.I have no place to live and dont have anybody to help.I dont know anybody in my country.All i want is to be able to work and study.I would never wish anybody to go through life here that ive been through :cry::cry::cry::cry: .so like anyone else im worrying abt my case and check mail/online status everyday.

Yes, call them. I didn't get any notice before the biometrics appointment letter came. But guess what, my 4 receipts plus the biometrics letter were NOT SEALED ! They were put into envelops and I guess somebody just forgot licking the glue strips. I was surprised the letters made their way to my mailbox after all. But alas, I just received a status update my i485 after 5 weeks of biometrics is now in testing and interview.

still haven't received my rfe in the mail just rang uscis and was told it can take up to 15 days for the rfe to be received in the mail. so it could be another week... :(

They couldn't even tell me what the rfe was for so at least I could gather what was needed.

Really getting fed up of this. Trying to stay positive but it is hard.

Plus I am also a very impatient person.

I feel like i should of stayed in Ireland.

Unfortunately, it's common practice for USCIS not to tell you what your RFE is for, they'll just tell you to wait etc.

It seems most of the times people get an RFE it's usually for for I-864 stuff from your spouse/sponsor or co sponsor if you have one. These are the most difficult to reply too since sometimes the things they want take a while to obtain.

So if you didn't send an employer letter with the package, get your spouse (if they're the one sponsoring you) or your co sponsor to get an employer letter, get as many paystubs as possible, and also you need to submit proof of the sponsors US citizenship (passport, birth cert etc)

That's just what I think you should do. Just get any documents ready that you think they could possibly want. You never know, it could be somethin so simple as them misplacing a form or document and needing a new one ^^;

I'm sorry that you're feeling fed up. I'm sure it'll all work out alright . This is a frustrating journey to have to go through to be with our loved ones :( but I wish you all the best

What's the tier 2 number? Is it different from the regular USCIS customer service number?

How do I get ' em? Sorry for these bunch of questions but I've called the regular number but to no avail.

Call normal number and tell customer representative you want to speak to tier 2 and they will transfer the number but waiting time it's like 1-2hrs ......

Hey guys,

I know it's getting late, but I need to ask this real quick;

Is there a link to the uscis website that allows one to track if a letter is mailed to him/her?

If yes, can someone post it here for me?

Thanks,

AmericanLife

Vendar and NikeS,

I appreciate your respective quick response to my inquiry. I called last week and was asked a bunch of questions to fill up supposedly "service request form", but have not still received a biometric letter of appointment.

Anyways, I'd call to speak to one of those tier 2 officers.

And yes, good luck on your updates...Very happy for you both!
