Received a RFE via mail on Friday, my status on the USCIS website isn't updated at all. It's still at acceptance stage. I replied my RFE today.

My RFE was for birth certificate of co-sponsor and ITR for sponsor(I sent it in the original petition but guess it's not what they want).

I got my biometrics appointment letter in the mail today!!! We are in Buffalo, has anyone had any experience or heard anything from that office about walkins?.. Uscis website hasn't changed from acceptance is this normal too?

We got ours today too!! We are going to try and do a walk-in as well. I read online that our local office (Austin, Texas) accepts walk-ins. We are also still on acceptance and signed up for email and text notifications if there is a change in our status.

Congratulations to everyone!! I am glad to see we are all moving forward.... slowly but surely

We got ours today too!! We are going to try and do a walk-in as well. I read online that our local office (Austin, Texas) accepts walk-ins. We are also still on acceptance and signed up for email and text notifications if there is a change in our status.

In order to visit this office or to speak with an Immigration Services Officer, we recommend you schedule an INFOPASS appointment on the USCIS website. Persons without appointments will be served between INFOPASS appointments.

Does this mean they accept walk ins???^^^^

I am not sure. We live about five minutes from our local office. We are going to just try and go and see what they say. If not, then we will wait until July 1st (our actual interview date). It won't hurt to try!

I just did a quick search on "Buffalo New York Biometrics early walk in" and come up with a lot of results. Everything I read, it says they DO allow early walk-ins and they were very nice. I think you will be fine Good Luck!!

The NOA paper notification says my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing, while the online status says my case is being processed at NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location, and my receipt number starts with MSC.

I am wondering how many of us has the same service location NBC with receipt number MSC? Thanks

@eeosas...... I have the same service location and receipt number.

I understand MSC - Missouri Service Centre - is the same as the National Benefits Centre. Petitions are being moved to Nebraska to balance the workload.

Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best....

i got an rfe also, replied to it and my status never changed, my attorney called me and told me today that my interview has been scheduled so dont worry

I tend to read too much these days especially when you are home all day doing nothing, according to some old post from VJ members, cases that are processed at the National Benefit Center takes longer than cases processed at local filling office, approximately 7-9 Month but will no interview.

I would rather have an interview with 3-4 months processing than the 7-9 months with no interview?

oh mine says Nebraska, but the email and paper notification I got says National Benefit Center, I would rather have my local filling center process my case. well, lets keep our fingers crossed, I wish everyone here a smooth and steady process.
