For those who did an early biometrics walk in: what did you say when you arrived? And what happens to your scheduled appointment , do you just not show up to it or do they take it off their system? I live 45 mins away from where I have to go to mine so I'm wondering if I should just get it over and done with haha

k1 journey <3 -

-30th oct 2013: sent I-129f package

-1st nov 2013: package arrived at lockbox

-6th nov 2013: received noa1 email/text

-8th nov 2013: alien registration number changed

-15th nov 2013: noa1 hard copy arrived

-19th nov 2013: noa2!!!!

-17th dec 2013: nvc receive

-23rd dec 2013: consulate receive

-15th jan 2014: medical done

-3rd feb 2014: found out interview date via email

-7th feb 2014: received interview letter

-14th feb 2014: interview APPROVED!!!!!! <3

-22nd feb 2014: visa in hand

-26th feb 2014: POE New York JFK

-26th feb 2014: together <333

K1 journey over! Next stop AOS! married! :D

AOS <3

-23rd may 2014 send paperwork with USPS

-26th may 2014 usps says delivered!

-2nd june 2014: NOA1 texts received

-4th june 2014: biometrics letter receive

-26th june 2014: biometrics appointment

-6th august 2014: EAD card production ordered!!!!

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do I go to that website. Once you get your noa1 it will give you a case number. You can create an account, and log in, and get the updates. I hope

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

VJnew was that the same ID you submitted for the AOS documents? Just to be safe, you can take another photo ID maybe a driver's license along even if it is in your maiden name. My passport is still current but in my maiden name so I took a copy of my wedding certificate along which the security guard didn't ask for, but the usics staff attending to me did. He sighted both documents and returned them to me.

its the only ID i have.yes i submitted it with AOS.there is no way i can get another ID.i overstayed for 8 years...

I walked right into the building and the security asked for my appointment letter and my photo ID. Asked that I turn off my cell phone and go through the security door. Waited for a staff member to collect my appointment letter, which he did and he gave me a form to fill. He asked for my ID, said my last name didn't match and then asked for my marriage certificate. Once the biometrics proper was done, he returned my appointment letter stamped with the date it was done and his signature. No one commented on my coming in earlier than my appointed date :)

I believe your name would drop off the schedule of those awaiting biometrics once you go in early.

No questions asked during my biometrics. i just showed them my appt. letter and passport, security gave me a no. and then the lady checked on the form i filled up if info are the same with my passport and letter and then the biometrics and photoshoot ;)

well,guess what?i got married with this passport,went to dentist also.nobody asked anything.
