I could be wrong, but maybe it is just where the AOS applications are processed before they get sent elsewhere ^^ all I know is apparently it's a really good sign if you get transferred to California because that means they aren't going to make you have an interview :P

If so,i want my case to be transfered to CA then lol

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do I go to that website. Once you get your noa1 it will give you a case number. You can create an account, and log in, and get the updates. I hope

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

To ease processing they send to different centers. Thus you can check the specific center processing your application. Presently Nebraska and Vermont process I-485 in 4 months or less, California and Texas a little longer. Let's see how this all plays out because the field offices have their processing times for these same forms too.

It's true that when a case is transferred to CA a Waiver letter will be send and it take long to get the green card? If this is the case, I'm praying for not to get transferred. I can't wait to get my interview date ?????.

Didn't realize many are sent to different centers for AOS. We were sent to MSC (Missouri Service Center) also known as National Benefits Center...isn't everyone routed through there? Don't know if we are there for the remainder or what.

But I've read if you have an interview waiver... it takes between 9-12 months!!!! X_x So I don't know if it's any good.... =/

Yeah id rather do an interview than wait a long time for my gc.

im not too worried about the interview.

My k1 interview was soo easy I didn't even relaise it was the proper interviee.

I thought it was a guy asking me a few questions first before the proper interview lol.
