Hi, everyone,

I have never received a potential interview waiver letter. But today we got RFE from SF office saying they are processing our case for NBC. And if after REF, they still think we need an interview, they'll transfer our case back to NYC.

Our congresswoman office staff told us before that we got potential interview waiver (even we have never gotten the letter stating that).

So I guess we really got PIW.

However, I wonder if anyone got similar situation?

RFE asking for marital evidences such ask credit card statement, lease, tax refund...etc.

We don't have a lease because we got married after I signed the renewal. And it costs $300 for adding a new person on the lease. We decided to wait till the next year lease. But they sold out building, and we've never gotten the renewal lease. We like it without a lease, so we can move to a bigger place anytime when we are ready.

Do we submit photo album too? We put together a very nice photo album for the interview...but if we are sending it to SF office, I don't think we'll get it back :(

Please help! If anyone has similar or same situation, please help telling us what evidences you sent~ and what's the result? Still got interview or got the GC after RFE?

(So anxious...rather just go to the interview...)

I also got an RFE for marital evidence, but then we went past a year for medical and had to do the Civil Surgeon thingy too. Nice that we got stuck with a $250 bill because they are backlogged. Our evidence and sealed medical envelope was sent in overnight three weeks ago and nothing has changed - as of yet. She did get her biometrics done for the I-131/765 renewal though.

We sent in copies of:

Lease from 2014 and 2015

medical/dental statements

Auto insurance

Medical/Dental insurance card

Power bill

2014 Tax Return and IRS Transcript

W2s

Lots of pictures and plane tickets/hotel stay for Chinese New year.

We will see if that is enough.

We got a letter over Memorial Day Weekend. It was from the USCIS in Guam. They wanted evidence of my husband's divorce. There are several USCIS offices in the Kansas City area, but they wanted our evidence sent to Guam. Crazy! USPS says our evidence will arrive Monday. We shall see what happens next...

Thanks! We checked the distance. It's just over 7100 miles to Guam and about 10 miles to the USCIS office here in Missouri!

All of it has been weird. There was a sticker on top of the official USCIS Return address with Guam's address. I checked, and there is a USCIS office at the address where we are supposed to send our information. Then, they misspelled my husband's name on the form. And, today we read all the checkboxes that are on the form. (Before we just read the one box they checked.) Well, in one of the boxes that was not checked for us, it said, "Marriage certificate of Richard ____ and Juana ____ or proof that your father legitimated you prior to your 18th birthday." We suspect that the person creating our RFE forgot to take out the parents' names of someone else petitioning as we don't know Richard or Juana, and those aren't typical Egyptian names anyway. So, we have a little bit of an uneasy feeling with so many unusual things happening with one piece of mail.
