Hey everyone, so I woke up today to my husband telling me we got a uscis email... It says the following:

Fingerprint Fee Was Received

On June 5, 2014, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC141711. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I already got my fingerprints and we filed in may19th.... What is going on?? What does it mean is it normal?

Wow..!

I guess you'd have to disregard this email then. It could be that they never sent you a notification on this, that's why they're doing it now. But try to check your I-485 case to see if there's any change there as well.

What is the post date on the envelope? When did they mail it? If it a few days after your fingerprint date then I'd say it got lost in the mail. If recently mailed, I would call them.

Hey Mrs Lacka!

I received the exact same message on the USCIS website (even the June 5th date). My fingerprints were taken on July 1. I've since moved so really should be seeing a change of address related status.

I suspect it has something to do with the website upgrade. Let me know if your hear otherwise!
