June 14 ,2014 - NOA receipt I485 hard copy in mail.

June 16 , 2014 - Letter in Mail for Biometric appointment July 2.

July 1, 2014 - RFE received

July, 2, 2014 BIOMETRIC done

AUG 17, 2014 EAD in production

Aug 18 , 2014 Mail the RFE to USCIS ( Nebraska Service Center)

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

If this post helps one person, then it worked.

When applying for Driver's License, SSN, or anything else.

Get a breif case. Use this breif case only for your AOS, I-864, and anything related to establishing identity in the United States.

In it, place the following:

1) AOS FILE

2) I-864 FILE

3) A file for your SSN application and supporting documents

4) A file for your driver's lincense application and supporting documents

5) A file for Foreign Spouse birth certificate

6) A file for U.S. Spouse birth certificate

7) A file for copies of common bills where both husband / wife name are on the same document.

8) A file of any devorse decree.

Keep this breif case in tack at all times. This way, when you need anything, it is in a single point location.

In addition, if you have to go to the hospital or anything like that, you have the whole file cabinet in carry mode i.e. breif case.

VERY VERY IMPORTANT : If you have to take it with you, when you go in a place to eat, CARRY the breif case with you. DO NOT LEAVE IT IN YOUR CAR. Remember, your whole life is in it.

You will greatly enjoy the benefit of this.

In closing, if you take something out, PUT IT BACK after your finished with it.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.

Already interviewed friends or anyone who might know,

If you applied for I -130 and I-765, and you're going for I-485 interview; do you have to go with just I-485 application form and documents, or everything including forms I-130 and I-765?

Take everything with you including the your EAD card as IO will ask you to give him/she the EAD card. Make sure you have take everything with you just in case they ask you something but you say you didn't bring with you that might have cause the delay of your GC application.

IO might also ask when you submit your I130 , or if you have submit I765 even you have already done those.

Take everything with you including the your EAD card as IO will ask you to give him/she the EAD card. Make sure you have take everything with you just in case they ask you something but you say you didn't bring with you that might have cause the delay of your GC application.

IO might also ask when you submit your I130 , or if you have submit I765 even you have already done those.

I appreciate your insight on this matter!

I had to leave the country due to an unexpected family emergency I won't be back until January... So I'm kinda glad seeing how I'd probably miss my appointment but... Seriously how long does it take?!? Is buffalo the slowest office?!

Am I the only one who still hasn't heard anything.... I submitted the papers in May, fingerprints in June, change do address around Labor Day (same city same state)... I had to leave the country due to an unexpected family emergency I won't be back until January... So I'm kinda glad seeing how I'd probably miss my appointment but... Seriously how long does it take?!? Is buffalo the slowest office?!

Initial E2 visa approved (04/2005) - 2 consequent renewals

 

FB3 Visa - Sponsored by my father in 2003

EAD/AP - Approved in 151 days


May 2014 - PD current

May 23rd 2014 - AOS package, AP and EAD for my wife and I

May 28th, 2014 - NOA1

June 27th, 2014 - Biometrics completed. Buffalo NY

July 7, 2014 - RFE for I485
Aug 7, 2014 RFE replied. Delivered byUSPS and received on Aug 8th, 2014
