Hey friends,

A very quick random question. Is the ROC done based on one's completion of 2 years of having "temporary" green card or one's 2nd anniversary of marriage?

In other words, does one apply for ROC after 2nd marriage('s) anniversary or when temporary 2 years green card is (about to) expire(d)?

Two years (minus ninety days, if you want to apply as early as possible) for having the conditional green card. Where being married for two years comes into play is for initial green cardif you are already married for two years (I'm not sure if it is at the AoS priority date or your green card interview date) then they give you the ten-year green card.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do I go to that website. Once you get your noa1 it will give you a case number. You can create an account, and log in, and get the updates. I hope

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

I mailed my I131 separated from the adjustment status package ( 485&765). Today I just got this on my status of i131

"Post Decision Activity

On November 6, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations."

I wonder if this Advace Parole is just a document or it's a card like work permit. The status just shows it has been approved and mailed out, but it did not move to "Card production" first before they mail to me.

Since you already received EAD card, it will be a letter.

OK.so today i went back to SS office.and lady told me to give her EAD and birth certificate...while the first lady told me i need EAD and ID. :ranting:​ .ill receive my ssn num within 7-10 days

the first lady did everything to screw me up.i told her i have a birth certificate and she said NOOO i dont need need,go make ur ID.and this lady said i dont need ur ID,birth certificate or passport

this EAD card is nothing without ssn.I cannot even apply for job online bc they asking me for ssn. :ranting:
