I mailed my I131 separated from the adjustment status package ( 485&765). Today I just got this on my status of i131

"Post Decision Activity

On November 6, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations."

I wonder if this Advace Parole is just a document or it's a card like work permit. The status just shows it has been approved and mailed out, but it did not move to "Card production" first before they mail to me.

Ok.So today i went to SSN Office to get ssn num.brought my EAD and passport but bc my passport was expired they told me that they cant do anything for me.They gave me a letter that ssn cannot be issued at this time.I went to DMV and got my Temporary ID card valid for 1 year like EAD.Gonna come back on monday to get ssn.

thanks for telling me! if i could renew it i would! my embassy need me to show them GN so i can renew it.So there is no way.SSN office lady told me to get an ID and then she will try again.She will use both EAD AND ID,but not passport

Hello Supergirl, you already have an interview scheduled for Nov 25, which is about two weeks time, I would advice you to wait for your GN, with your GN you can get your SSN, besides if you get the SSN with your EAD, it will have a restriction on it, meaning, you would still need to go back to apply for a new SSN with your GN to remove the restriction.

Hey friends,

A very quick random question. Is the ROC done based on one's completion of 2 years of having "temporary" green card or one's 2nd anniversary of marriage?

In other words, does one apply for ROC after 2nd marriage('s) anniversary or when temporary 2 years green card is (about to) expire(d)?
