I put in a service request for my case, since I have EAD and AP all on initial review from May 23rd. I did get an RFE during the summer and the 485 is response review from August 8th.

They replied by email stating that the due to the RFE response review, the EAD is NOT overdue because the 90 days starts again from August 8th.roll on November..

Did u call or filed online?

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do I go to that website. Once you get your noa1 it will give you a case number. You can create an account, and log in, and get the updates. I hope

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

My wife was in that stage for eight months before receiving the interview notice. Your current waiting period isn't considered that long.

Its ridiculous! A lawyer told me the whole process takes 5 months.

Ours pushed the 60 day limit, which is what they say to wait until calling to find out about delays. I'm surprised (although I shouldn't be) that they told you the 90 days starts over. Maybe it does, but I thought that they were supposed to decided something within 60 days of their receipt of your RFE response.

hi, if you start to be worried about ur RFE i recommend infopass.

call center - worthless, even they admit they can not give you right info

service request - did myself, they state it takes up to 30 days to get case update.........not true, took them way more and i got general answer stating rfe was received, they are overloaded with work. (for my RFE all possible and not possible terms already past long ago, according to uscis standarts) so.........service request -- pretty much pointless

infopass - did it 2 times. depending on the officer, you get more information, i was told REAL timing, REAL case update and when my file was opened last time. and after info pass things moved a little bit.

if you start to be really worried, wait 90 days since RFE and do the info pass.

I received my 10 Yrs GC today and honestly it's too much green - LOL.

As we're switching off the light of this part of our lives. i just want to say that this journey was quite interesting.

Good luck to all of you as you maneuver this system with great PATIENCE. Hold on to the ones you love, because they are the ones you are going through all of this for!

I got a RFE for a birth certificate. Here is what it says submit a copy of the applicant foreign birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority.

do you think they misplaced it or they need something different than what was sent. do I call them on Monday before send it?

I think if you send the same thing they'd rfe you again. I'm not a lawyer, so don't take my word for it....but I think, the birth certificate you sent is not an acceptable one to them.

However, if you think it is, convince them that that's the only true authorized and legal one your home produces.
