Hi everybody,

Thought I might share our experience with you.

Mar-1 POE Atlanta

May-3 Wedding

May- 5 Medical passed. no big deal and it went fast)

May-12 medical document ready

May-23 package sent to USCIS (I 130, I-485, I- 765 I-131

May-28 NOA

Jun-23 Biometrics appt

Aug-08 EAD ( i did not get the combo card with Advanced Parole)

Aug-11 social security card aplication. ( 7 weeks waiting time ...no comment, not possible to work without SSN

Passed my driving licence without SSN by filing an affidavit

Sep-24 interview at USCIS. After 30 min I was approved. We had well prepared our file and the officer was very friendly and professional

Oct-2. Today.... Green Card in hand!!!!!!!!

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do I go to that website. Once you get your noa1 it will give you a case number. You can create an account, and log in, and get the updates. I hope

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

After a loooooooong wait finally my card went to production today. 2 looooooong years

Today was the best day ever first a new job, and the approval from USCIS

for all of you who haven't received/heard anything i hope you get good news as i know how it feels to just wait

03/24/2013: Package I-130 was sent to Chicago Lockbox
04/01/2013: NOA1 Hard Copy
07/26/2013: Infopass
07/30/2013: RFE Received
08/05/2013: RFE Sent
05/01/2014: NOA2 Hard Copy

The process took almost 14 months (well ... that really sucks)

AOS

05/05/2014: Package I-485, I-765 and I-131 Sent
05/16/2014: NOA1 Hard Copy( I-765, I-485 )

05/28/2014: Biometric Appointment ( 15 days earlier than scheduled )

06/04/2014: RFE ( Sponsor's Proof of Employment )

06/06/2014: RFE Sent

07/30/2014: EAD/AP Received

09/23/2014: Interview

10/03/2014: Case Approved
10/09/2014: GC Received (10 YRS)

N-400

Qualified by 319b

05/02/2015: Fingerprints in the US embassy

05/04/2015: N-400 sent

05/19/2015: Cash checked

05/21/2015: NOA1

06/08/2015: In-Line for an Interview

07/21/2015: Interview

I-130 - Sent early 2003

I-130 approved - PD Aug 2003


Initial E2 visa approved (04/2005) - 2 consequent renewals

 

FB3 Visa - Sponsored by my father in 2003

EAD/AP - Approved in 151 days


May 2014 - PD current

May 23rd 2014 - AOS package, AP and EAD for my wife and I

May 28th, 2014 - NOA1

June 27th, 2014 - Biometrics completed. Buffalo NY

July 7, 2014 - RFE for I485
Aug 7, 2014 RFE replied. Delivered byUSPS and received on Aug 8th, 2014

Oct 20th, 2014 - Moved to Testing and Interview

Oct 21st, 2014 - EAD production ordered :dancing:

Oct 22, 2014 - Notice of AP approval

Oct 24, 2104 - Interview notice - December 1st, 2014

Oct 27, 2014 - EAD mailed out

Oct 28, 2014 - EAD received

Dec 1st, 2014 - Interview day - no decision at interview

Dec 1st, 2014 - Evening, 485 changes to APPROVED. Concurrent I601 waiver also approved. Welcome letter mailed.

December 6th 2014 - Green Card RECEIVED

December 19th 2019 - N400 Application submitted

December 23rd 2019 - NOA1 Received

December 27th 2019 - Biometrics Appointment notice received

January 17th, 2020 - Biometrics Appointment scheduled

January 23rd, 2020 - Interview date scheduled - Feb 27th, 2020

February 27th, 202- Interview APPROVED. USC status granted. Oath Ceremony scheduled March 26th, 2020 

Oath Ceremony Descheduled

June 5th, 2020 - Oath ceremony re-scheduled for June 15th 2020

Still haven't heard anything about the interview, on the other hand I have my license, promotion and raise at work, and my SSN... Bummer side? Everything says temporary visitor...

5/1/2014 USCIS received our papers
5/6/2014 NOA Date for all my applications

5/29/2014 Biometrics done in Detroit
moved to Minneapolis, MN June 10th
6/10/2014 RFE regarding my birth certificate(It was their own mistake, my birth certificate was exactly what they need)
6/11/2014 RFE response mailed to USCIS by our lawyer
6/11/2014 I-485 status moved to Initial review after telling USCIS our new address
7/2/2014 I-485 status moved to Testing and Interview

7/21/2014 EAD to card/document production yayy :)

7/22/2014 AP status chagend to post desicion activity

7/25/2014 EAD combo card mailed

7/29/2014 EAD combo card arrived at my old address(address was changed TWO times before that, even by my lawer and USCIS still had my old address)

-my parents-in-law are sending it to me overnight

Travelled to Finland with my husband for 3 weeks in August. Came back with my Advance Parole, POE in Chicago, no problems with AP.

10/7/2014 Interview date

10/8/2014 I485 status moved to card/document production! HAPPY :)
