Anyone still waiting on RFE response review?

My 485 is stuck on RFE response reveiew since Aug 8th. I know it could take 60 days (or longer) but I see a few people on here that have since moved past that point.

EAD and AP still on Intial review from May 23rd.

yap.........me.. for more details check my timeline..

it seems like uscis is a complete joke.......... i had info pass and it was useless (cos status on web never changed as for RFE, 60 days past), we asked where is the case and asked them to upload my Social security and change name (cos SS office told they can not issue me SS card under my married name cos its not uploaded by uscis) so the officer at uscis "supposly sent request" to do all and.........nothing happened.......... so, be patient, it may take a while............

oh, and service request is a joke too, useless as everything else.........seems like people in uscis take their time.........big time

Im not surprised bc all K1/K3 visa holders get a waiver letter. In my case im not from that category so im still waiting for interview

Actually not all of us do, lots of K1 visa holders get interviews still. We don't know what determines someone getting a waiver letter or not, so it seems to be just random for now~

Hi all - I am very happy (and surprised) to report that yesterday we received a letter from USCIS stating: "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status."

The letter came on plain while paper (not the usual) USCIS letterhead and was from our local USCIS office in Omaha. The letter goes on to state that we should receive the I-551 green card and some other documentation within 60 days.

I am very pleased to receive this and quite surprised it took so fast! Also, we never had to do any sort of interview at all, we just sent in our AOS packet in May, did biometrics, and that's all. I hope this is FINALLY over for us!

Good luck to all!

Thank you! No, no interview for us. In fact, we have never been interviewed. Its just been a really smooth process for us for the most part. A couple times I did contact our local senators and asked them for "help" though. Not sure if that had any sort of impact.

nope.....it was never updated it sits on "we mailed you RFE". Even the guy at info pass told that they do not update web often and its not always accurate info (i knew it though without him telling that)

I would suggest either you asked USCIS if you can resend the RFE since it's already pasted the 60days and there was no updates just in case they had lost the documents for some reasons. A friend of mine , he ended up by telling " they lost the package " ,and was asked to re-send the forms and that was before the 87 days deadline.

In my case , It showed USCIS received my RFE and indicated they are reviewing the documents when I sent out my RFE.

I did already infopass as for my RFE and the officer said it was received by Nebraska service center.....so I don't even know what to say...he said nebraska is slow in processing and they do not update info on the web site....

also i did service request (it means they give me update via mail and e-mail as for where is my case and what's going on..........the call center guy said it may take them up to 30 days to answer, those 30 days end on september 21....soooooooo will wait till than and if nothing than I will act again)...........
