Just came back from AoS interview. It was very simple & smooth. The officer said everything looks fine but will review our file to see if he had forgotten anything. Hopefully will hear our approval today itself.

AOS approved today @ Los Angeles. No issues at all. Pretty smooth process from K1 application back in November thru to approval.

I think we were rubber-stamped before the interview as we were called in early and approved and out the door before 9am.

Congrats to all of you guys, i just received my SSN card today labeled with a (valid for work only with DHS authorization) is it this normal?

I thought whatever card i'd receive it'll be a normal card ?

how can i change it to a normal SSN without that label ?

Hi, what you have now is a working permit, an authorization to work, so your SSN will have it, but you will only be able to get a new one without restriction when you get your GC, if I were you, I wouldn't bother about it, and wait till I get my GC.

When my husband got his ssn, the card he has said the same thing. They told him once he gets his permit to go back and it would remove that wording. Well he did, but in the mail he got the same card as the first one. So maybe its something internal??

I received the text in very early morning 4:00am ( what? USCIS sent me text at 4am????) hahaha

But it's the good news that they have scheduled the interview on OCT 17, 2014.

Heh, I check my email and there's one from USCIS so I get all excited

Then I realise it's just cuz I changed my password

Still waiting for testing and interview or at least a waiver letter ;_; feels like it's been stuck so long that it will never move forward

Hmm but we both have our EADs! That's unusual since a lot of people move to T&I before EAD. Maybe they are gonna send us the waiver letter ;_;

That's what I am expecting too. I'm hoping to get that waiver letter soon. I've been checking my status everyday and like a thousand times per day. ????
