You are not alone. It' has been 3 weeks for me.

I made a call to them last Friday. I left a voice mail to the guy who accepted my application. Monday afternoon ( this week) he called me back and told me that, " sorry for an inconvinent. He's still waiting for my status to be updated in the system. Once it updates, he will issue the card for me. So just be patient for now".

He did not mention if I need to go to his office to reapply again at all. Therefore, I guess you should just keep waiting.

It seems likes USCIS officers are really slow. ???

That's exactly what i've been told, even the lady gave me a number and told it's DHS's contact number and it turns out it's USCIS. she told me to make an infopass and ask them what's going on and tell them to transfer my info

No updates here. I've actually been distracting myself though :) my husband and I got a dog so we have been busy training him, kept my mind off worrying! Was my doctors idea to ease anxiety :)

Anyone got i-485 news after ead received? Its quiet in here...ive been checking june and july filers, and most have received interview waivers or interview letters...

In terms of July filers adjusting from a K1 visa I have only seen one person moved to Interview & Testing and they have no interview date yet. I saw the first July filer get their EAD / AP approved yesterday but they mailed their forms at the end of June, so they are really a June filer.

There have been a few July filers adjusting from non-family based visas or B2 visas that have been moved to Testing & Interview.

I wish they would hurry up with my EAD/AP card. I need to head home for a week and I really need to get a job!

I'm so frustrated now. No news at all for my i485. It's been sitting at " Acceptance" forever since May.

I got EAD , but I still can't go to work cuz I got no SSN yet. SS office can't issue me number cuz there is no status updated in there system. This is so weird. In Canada, people get the SIN (SSN) right away after they bring the work permit in to Service Canada office. Having work permit in hand means everything is good to go. How come in here, having EAD in hand is just like having nothing. ???

Hi everyone,

no news on my AOS yet either, my case moved to testing&interview almost 2 months ago though.

We just got back from my home country, we had our church wedding there, it was awesome!

No problems coming back with AP, the guy at the passport control was very nice. Just asked normal questions about where we were and for how long. Then he said just wait a bit and you will get a stamp to ur passport in an other room. Someone came to get us to the other room and I was prepared for an interview, but they asked nothing, just brought me my passport with the stamp on it :) i'm so happy!

Now i'm looking for jobs, trying to get one asap!

7/29/2014 EAD combo card arrived at my old address(address was changed TWO times before that, even by my lawer and USCIS still had my old address)

-my parents-in-law are sending it to me overnight

Travelled to Finland with my husband for 3 weeks in August. Came back with my Advance Parole, POE in Chicago, no problems with AP.

10/7/2014 Interview date

10/8/2014 I485 status moved to card/document production! HAPPY :)
