https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do I go to that website. Once you get your noa1 it will give you a case number. You can create an account, and log in, and get the updates. I hope

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

Can I ask a question please? Does the EAD / AP combo card come with an I-797 paper approval notice attached?

Hi! I never received any notice of approval for my EAD, when it went on "card production" I had to wait 5 days for them to mail my card, then got another update to tell me that it was delivered. Never received an update before with the tracking number, but it was fast anyway.

Can I ask a question please? Does the EAD / AP combo card come with an I-797 paper approval notice attached?

No just a letter with your receipt number your Alien number and the card, but no I-797 notice :)

i did the same thing but when i went to the SSN office i was told that they need 10 days until they receive your info from USCIS, all did was wasting time and gas.

I'd suggest wait some time before going

I went to SSN office and they told me I should wait for my green card to come again since it's not worth it, the one I have right now is in my maiden name :( I feel every time I to there they tell me something different

You should of asked for their supervisor, because if you have your EAD then you're ready for your SSN

they just need sometime until they have your info from USCIS in their database

I have a SSN but it's with my maiden name, I've already been to the office twice after we got married to change my name in the card and I haven't received it... Now they just told me to wait for the green card... So confusing

You should go tomorrow. Although, you won't get the SSN card right there. It took a whole week to get mine. You could ask if they can give you the number assigned to you--if it's possible.

They gave me a piece of paper that showed my SSN# that I could take to the DMV or my employer should they ask in the meantime. The piece of paper proofs that you were at the SSN office and you are just waiting to receive the actual card in the mail, which takes about a week( at least for me it did).

05/15/2014- Sent Aos package (I-485 and I-765)

05/20/2014- AOS package received

05/27/2014- Received NOA for I-485

06/04/2014- Received NOA for I-765

06/09/2014- Received NOA for Bio appointment

06/13/2014- Early walk-in for Biometrics

06/27/2014- Received EAD card
