Advanced Parole Approval Notice?

Hi,

My case status for the AP says "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT". Now, I've received the EAD/AP combo card, but I just wanted to know, should I expect to receive a notice or letter in the mail saying the Advanced Parole has been approved. Or is this notice they've mailed just the card that I've received? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything I might need.

Thanks

You may or may not receive the letter; either way, you don't need it. As long as your EAD / AP card states along the bottom "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE" then you're good to go.

You have the card, don't need anything else. If it were not approved you would not have it. I did not get anything after the card and have used it twice.

Is this approval notice enough to travel outside of the country? just wondering, since I have to travel outside of the country...not sure if I have to wait for the card....

You need your valid passport to travel out of the US, you need the AP (combo) card in your possession to be considered for readmission to the US.

Agree with Hypnos, if you have the EADP/AP combo card, you are good to go (with your valid passport).
