Signed Statements from family and friends with a copy of their ID's who knew about your relationship. I was told from my lawyer that it is best to have those and I did and we had no problem.

employment letter not needed.

he should go through embassy review to see other's experience and be equipped to answer questions.

he should also remember to give everything including evidence to the first staff who asks for all documents, those not required would be returned.

If you just have W-2, include the 1040 as well. Even better would be a tax transcript from the IRS. You can download that and print it immediately from the IRS website.

Ghana requires tax transcripts. If you do not include it you will have to submit it and it may delay your processing. go to http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript
