Finally,I got my letter in the mail today,for my Oath ceremony!

I just want to thank to all of u that gave me a lot of support during this long process,and had patience to answer my questions!:)

After Oath,I know I need to update my ssn...do I need to update my paperwork at my job?

Thank you all again!!!

Congrats,,, would you please share... if your online status changed before you got the oath letter? what your online status says right now? and when is you oath date?

Biometric appointment letter mailed out on 5/15/2014

Biometric appointment letter received on 5/19/2014 for May 30th,2014

Biometrics done (walk-in) on 5/23/2014

Inline for interview 5/28/2014

Received yellow letter indicating to bring to the interview ID/State DL and all passports on 7/5/2014

USCIS website status changed to ''scheduled for interview" on 7/24/2014

Received letter :interview date will be on 9/2/2014

Interview result : approved :joy:

Oath Ceremony appointment date letter mailed out on 9/5/2014

Online status changed and received letter with Oath Ceremony date for 9/12/2014

09/12/2014 - I AM A United States Citizen!

only_me got the letter for oath, so as usual members have no need to log back on to forums, since they do not need any more help.

what only_me meant by updating ssn was, you have to update your record with social security administration from green card holder to USC.

Yes - your HR department will want you to update your I-9 information. They may accept your Certificate of Citizenship but I know my employer required my US Passport as proof instead - photo id.

Yes ...in person - you're changing your citizenship status with them. I personally changed mine on the way home from my Oath ceremony, took all of a half hour, mostly waiting.

All I knew is that u must wait at least a week after the oath...

My status online says that I'll get a notification with the date,place for the Oath!!
