When you move, you don't lose your priority date, right? If so, you may wait longer due to backlog but it's not like your filing date gets pushed back to your move date. That's what I've been told, but I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm or correct me.

In CA, you'll get it your case approved faster than Felix over in Orland (see my signature how long it took for us). Of course, this is not a guarantee, but CA is famous for being super quick. :)

Thanks for that. Wow, yours was fast! I would be moving from the Denver field office to the Fresno, CA field office. And from what I can sort out, it seems that they process things a lot quicker than Denver.... Good to know! Thanks all!
