Got case complete! Waiting for interview date now.

Quick question though, I was told to send my husband an updated version of I864 of my mom because the line 13a needs to match line 22 of 1040. Except, it does match. It's the same exact number. So what do I do in that case? Does NVC operators have access to our forms so they can look at it with us or no?

We had the same checklist item, except our numbers weren't the same so did need to be corrected. My husband called the NVC and the operator was able to look at the form with us. I would guess that they'll tell you the checklist was sent in error because, apart from it being wrong (!), we had to re-submit the I-864 and wait for the corrected information to be processed (about 5 weeks - we received case closed notification today). Congratulations, and all the best with the rest of the process!

My wife has her interview on May 12th. I completed the AOS with 2013 tax return, because back in January I hadn't filed my 2014 return. Do I need to fill out another i-864 or is it sufficient to just send 2014 tax return transcript with my wife to the interview? I mean the i864 isn't a very complicated form to fill out, but I also don't want to send her with conflicting documents, because what the Embassy will have on file is based off of 2013 tax return.

I was wondering the same thing. We received a checklist on March 6th and made the correction they asked for, and last week received our case complete notification. Congrats on your case complete!

I think I am just going to fill out another i-864 and send her a signed copy just in case they ask for it, and I'll tell her to keep my 2012, 2013, 2014 tax return transcripts handy, because I know for a fact that they will definitely ask for the most recent one.

Yesterday, I had my interview and my visa already shows ISSUED on CEAC! Yay!

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

My husband also had his interview yesterday & he got his visa too.

Yayyyyyy yippiiii :dancing::dancing::dancing:

I am just soooooooo happy. Finally wait is over.

Now I just can't wait to see him. :)

Congratulations! ? i had my interview on may 7th and also got the issued status ? also already took the risk of buying ticket for May 20th a few weeks ago, we had a reason why that would have been best, so now I just have to hope the postal service won't mess up! ?

Congrats to all those already approved, in my case, we had a checkliston form I 864. NVC has received it on April 24, hoping for a case complete this time, so I can join u guys on the other side
