ritbiv, how do NVC review the DS-261 by phone? Is just two questions and thats it?......I'm still waiting for my IV bill to be generated

I am not sure about that. You should call them and ask for your IV bill to invoice.

You're welcome. It won't take 7 days I think. It will be quicker than that. :)

Does anyone know how long it will take for them to review all the supporting doc & AOS doc?

Today is our first anniversary and I miss my hubby so much :'( there is nothing like first one. I can't even travel back home b/c of my school.

One more question...does my husband need all the original doc FROM MY SIDE? I mean my birth certificate, my passport, my neutralization form and all? or Does he need only his original during interview such as his birth certificate, our marriage certificate and all?

Hello Nayla & ribiv

Please help me out. If you know if they will send packet 60 after reviewing AOS & Supporting Docs or they will take 60 days to just review those papers?

My husband is really getting impatient and I really have no answer for him. I am so confused, frustrated & feeling down.

Please reply asap...let me know more about how long it will take for my husband to get interview letter?

1) Currently it's taking about 60-68 days, with rumours that they are working on Saturdays to try and clear the backlog.

2) I know that feel. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. My first anniversary is Friday and we're still waiting, though we're due to hear this week or next week if we managed to get this stage without a checklist.

3) He only NEEDS his stuff, but occasionally an intending immigrant at some embassies/consulates has been asked for spouse's birth certificate or certificate of naturalization. Good idea to have an original or certified copy just in case.

What do you mean by packet 60? At some point after you send in your AOS and Supporting Docs, you'll get an email with a scandate or 'date they received' the documents. From the date they say they received the documents, it is 60-68 days.

Every embassy/consulate takes different time for the interview scheduling. Average is 40-60 days for an interview, some are on the long end, some are on the short end.

Not a Tailor thank you sooo much.

That does help but I am still disappointed b/c I told my Hubby that everything will be done in 60 days (as that is what NVC told me too)

But he is thinking that he will receive letter from NVC after 60 days stating the date of interview & medical check up. :(

This is really frustrating b/c now it could take 60 to 68 days not only that....40 to 60 days for an interview :'(

Btw NVC received our papers on Jan 22 & they r saying that they will notify us by March 22 (60 days)

Hoping I will not get any checklist either and they finish in 60 days.

Thanks once again for reply

On the CEAC website, does anyone know why the Affidavit of Support Fee status would change from PAID to N/A? I have been checking their website almost everyday since I paid the fees.

I checked yesterday and it said paid, but this morning it changed to N/A. Any ideas?

hard to say. Depends on embassy or consulate. Could be days, could be a couple weeks depending on the caseload pending interview.

Wowww Flash9153 that is good news.

So happy for you :)

Do you mind to tell me when did they received your AOS & supporting docs at NVC?

I mean did you have to wait for 60 days or your case completed earlier than that?

One more time Congrates :)
