When I checked USCIS website it did says on it that your packaged has been shipped to NVC Center on Oct 6th 2014.

Now for next step I will contact NVC in 2 weeks or wait for a month. But my consideration is that how would I contact them? I mean what is a phone number or website to reach them?

How would I check my next step status update? I mean the way I was keeping track with USCIS. Do they have similar website, log in, or receipt number to keep in track with my case & check the update?

Just called the NVC and they received our case yesterday 11/13/14.

NOA2 = Oct 17 2014

Igor's List says 42 approved and 14 pending. So our month is at about 75% approval--probably higher in reality, though, as some people won't have updated their timelines.

Next comes NVC.

It took 21 days from NOA2 to NVC receiving my case. Now we're waiting for the case number to be assigned, which looks like it's taking 7-28 days.

Current wait times at NVC, from receipt to case complete look to be approximately 120-140 days--though I've been watching carefully and with two new changes it seems as though NVC is speeding up *touches wood*. (The changes: once you have paid AOS fee, you can send AOS and IV packets together. Then pay IV fee when it becomes available. The wiki here does NOT YET TELL YOU THIS YET, but it is working and shaves days or even weeks off of your timeline. So you'll be sending your IV packet BEFORE you pay the IV fee, as soon as AOS fee is paid. Also you NO LONGER HAVE TO SEND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS TO THE NVC. This means that birth certificates, etc can be photocopies. Forms you write on or fill out on the computer to print out must still be sent as originals).

It is a good idea after a week or so to start calling NVC every 2-3 days to find out when they receive your case. If your case goes more than 35 days (or whatever is printed on your hardcopy of NOA2) without NVC receiving it, call USCIS and demand to know when it left their service centre and have them begin tracking it. Case numbers are, touch wood, being assigned fairly quickly (though NVC will tell you it may take up to 42 days after receipt, when you call them) so I would start calling every 2 days approximately 3-4 days after you get confirmation that NVC has your case.

Go Nyala, big congratulations Τ̣̣̥☺ U̶̲̥̅̊. I told U̶̲̥̅̊ that ur approval was the next. Am sooooooo happy for everyone moving Τ̣̣̥☺ NVC gradually. I have not contacted NVC yet, hubby α̲̅πϑ I deceided Τ̣̣̥☺ wait 30days before calling, by then we hope they must have gotten it from USCIS α̲̅πϑ also assigned a case number

We had a reply in a week. The reply was basically 'your case is with an agent' and that's all they told us.
