I've done a lot of reading, Kulfi. What is okay to do now is to put the AOS barcode sheet as the cover sheet for BOTH packages. The barcode is the same and multiple people were told by NVC to do this. Send it in and when the IV packet unlocks, boom. The package is already there. There have been no checklists so far by doing this.

Some members who have done the old process discourage this, but it seems to be working. Just label the barcode sheet as IV by hand and send it!

Finally got the AOS fees unlocked at NVC, paid it but the IV fees still not showing up to pay. It's a bit frustrating because I was hoping to send everything in together since they now seem to be reviewing both packages together. When I spoke to someone at NVC two weeks back, I was told I needed my husbands' police certificate however now I've been told twice on different calls that it isn't needed.

Some people say it should be approved at NVC within 60 days and now I'm reading that it may take up to six months. This is ridiculous. All that money and taxes that we pay, we can't even be with our loved ones. Our first anniversary is coming up and really have been praying that we can be together but it doesn't seem like we'll get everything done by January.

I try to keep myself cheered up on most days, just planning stuff out with my husband for when he's here and other times i wonder why I'm planning so early as we don't even know how long it'll take before he gets here. :/

You sped through uscis. Hopefully you'll speed through nvc!

Good Idea! I've two cover sheets! One that was received from NVC with the letter that had case number and invoice number. It lists all the documents that need to be sent in, it says to mark on the cover sheet which documents are includes and they must be put in the order they're listed. However, after I paid the AOS fee I was given another coversheet.

Both have barcodes on them and they both have the case number as well. Just wondering if I should include both coversheets or just the one that came with the actual notice?

Not sure. I'd check with the user RobbieG, I think it is. Might be RobbieB.

We're may 12th. We just put in a service request. We were told someone was working on our case and to expect an answer within sixty days. They are still mostly focused on the single digits of may. Stay strong, our time is coming. We can do it, all of us!

Hello my fellow May filers just recieved my NOA2 in the mail today. I recieved my NOA1 on May 27 and NOA2 on October 16th so it was just under 5 months. My service center is Vermont. Its weird cause i didnt recieve a email or text message which i signed up for and i just checked my case status on the uscis website and it still says intial review. Dont count on a text notification guys. Im guessing they are just slow to update the system on the uscis website. So make sure ya'll are checking your mailboxes. On to some new B.S. i guess with the NVC and this 60 day ####### they have going on i keep hearing about. I have been quiet in this thread mostly but im always on this site reading and getting information from other people expierences. Love this site! I hope the rest of yall are making progress at the NVC right now or recieving your NOA2 shortly if not there yet. Im sure i will need some guidance from you guys here soon.

Cheers
