05/19/2014: NOA1 Email Received. Assigned to NSC.

05/22/2014: NOA1 Hardcopy

06/16/2014: NOA2 Email. Approved. :dancing:

06/19/2014: NOA2 Hardcopy

06/20/2014: I-130 shipped to NVC

07/02/2014: Case received at NVC

07/11/2014: NVC confirmed they received our package on July 2.

07/23/2014: Got Case Number, IIN, BIN

Yes, I called them 5 times same answer i got to wait there is backlog in Vermont Service center from Sep. 2013.

01/28/14: NOA1 (Priority Date)

03/24/15: Case Transferred from VSC to CSC

03/28/15: Hard copy of transfer received in mail

07/02/15: NOA2 ( I-130 Approved) - finally after long wait.

07/13/15: NOA2 (I-130 Approved letter hard copy)

NVC -

Hey,

That backlog seems to be over because people are being approved from April and may now. And since you've wanted over 5 months, you should put in a request for review. You might want to call again and find out if there's anything missing in your file.

Call USCIS and tell them it's been over five months. Ask to speak to a supervisor.

The customer service don't have any idea and just tells you to wait for 3 more months. how can i talk to their supervisor?

You have to ask the customer service rep to connect you to the supervisor as you'd like to speak to them. Ask them what the current time is for case approved. I know for sure that Vermont is 5 months but I know lots of people who have been getting approved within 3-4 months. My PD is May 5th and last week I was told my time of approval would be by October but already end of April, beginning of May are being looked at so it won't be too long, I'm sure.

My lawyer says it has been taking 8 months to get NOA2.. but i have seen so many people recieving it much sooner!.. my case is at vermont and uscis said should be by october 6.. who to believe?!.. confused -_-.. lol

Yeah USCIS is saying that based on the 5 month time frame they give. Many people are getting it much sooner. A friend of mine got it in three months at Vermont. So anything is possible.
