Mixed feelings right now, Was hoping for an earlier date but I'm still happy! very happy!

I will still try with the consulate once they get the file.

Its ok. Retro means the category cut off date moves backward n even though our case has been complete...our interview will not b scheduled because PD of applicant should be prior of cut off date mentioned in bulletin.

It hurts a lot. My case has been completed on March 26....i didnt get IL for May....even though it was current. Then in June VB,F2A retrogressed to May 2012 n now no idea when will it move forward.

Nope haven't seen any F2A's yet from any country report a interview.

Got to admit I really am not very up on the Visa bulletin and retrogression and what it means. Does it means no longer is the bulletin current and they are going back to whenever date and start there to start approving and such?

Can the ustraveldocs.com site be used to re-schedule an interview? I learned about our July 21 interview date a couple of days ago, and someone suggested we will need to register on that site for delivery of the passport after the interview. I began the process but did not complete it, and saw something on there about scheduling appointments.

Also, after the interview (assuming all goes well), is it possible to pick up the visa-stamped passport at the embassy instead of having it delivered? If so, I'm thinking of suggesting that my wife and stepson hang out in Moscow until the passport is ready (hopefully only a day or two), and then fly on to the USA when it's available.

Check/contact your specific embassy about rescheduling. The site would let you schedule online with no problems, but some embassies would not honor it.

To reschedule the actual visa interview you need to call or email the embassy/consulate. The US Travel Docs site is for scheduling biometric appointment (finger prints and pictures), and also to select the Passport pick up location. You can p/u the passport at the embassy.
