Anyone give me ideas? If i already have transcripts for 2013 2012 2011 ..itr and w2 is not needed anymore..am i correct? Cause the transcript itself shows that ur tax was accepted and filed at irs with complete documents?.

That is correct. The IRS transcripts if confirmation that your taxes have been accepted and processed by the IRS. Taking just the transcripts to the interview is fine.

Are the biometric results and photos directly sent to the embassy or are they given to you? If they are given to you when do you get the results? Same day?

Biometric (fingerptints) and photos taken at OFC go straight to the consulate. You have to p/u the medical report though and the X-ray. The consulate will want to have your medical report.

Is your case already approved at NVC? Looks like you have not updated your timeline.

Looks like US Consulate Mumbai only scheduled up to June 19. They left out 7 working days at the end of June. Why? Does that mean they are going to schedule a few more towards end of June?

The Delhi Embassy schedule is full till the end of June.

Hey guys! Question. On the IL where it says immigrant visa application part 1 and 2, what exactly does that mean? Is part 1 the confirmation page and part 2 the actual ds 260?

I didn't think you needed to take the ds 260. Just the confirmation page. Or does it mean something different?

Also it says petitioners birth cert. is that required at the interview?

No you only need confirmation page. The letter may not be updated since DS-230 where it was two parts.

If on your list it says NVC has and will forward thats all you need to do.

In our IL against Petitioner's birth cert the code is F - NVC did not request this form or document. Is it any different in your IL.

Against Birth Certificate (Applicant) the code is O - NVC sent this to US embassy or consulate. Actually, we only submitted a certified copy of her birth certificate. So she (applicant) is planning to carry the original birth certificate to the interview.

Against Immigrant Visa Application Part 1 and Part 2 the code is R - Submitted the IV application online. Which means they have it.

At the medical they gave me a CD and told i should take it for interview but i heard that cd disk are not allowed for interview. Any idea guys?

Just take it when they ask for all your medical stuff up front hand it over. I believe they give back not sure but take just in case.

Should start maybe Wednesday or Thursday. I know there's a big backlog for your embassy many ahead of you but lets stay positive that things getting better for your embassy.

So my wife did her medical today at Apollo Hospital in Ahmadabad. The hospital scheduled a second round of MMR and TD vaccines on June 26, 2014, they gave her the first ones today. What I'm wondering is, will she still get approved for her Visa? Or will they say to come back and bring the reports that the vaccine has been taken a few days after the 26th of June? Basically, can she travel without those two vaccines done in India?

The nurse apparently told her that it's fine if she skipped it that it's not necessary. But I'm not sure how well the nurse might know the process.
