Am I missing anything for the interview?

My husband will have:

P4 Letter

DS-260 Confirmation

Original Police Certificate

Copy of I-864 packet

Copy of IV supporting documents (His BC, Our Marriage License, Police Certificate)

Copy of I-130 Packet

Original NOA1 for I-130

Original NOA2 for I-130

Two US size Photos

Hoping that this below is enough for what they need on taxes. I sent in I-864 with 2012 as most recent. :

Copy of 2014 Tax forms 1040 showing stamped by IRS as filed (Transcript is still not available)

Copy of 2014 W2 for me

Should I send more pictures? Proof that I went to visit and that he came to visit since we filed the I-130?

Our interview was scheduled on June 13th...which is a Friday. I'm Superstitious and I am trying really hard to take this as a good sign that I need to not be so negative on the date.

Are you just bringing all those documents in case one gets lost or did your interview letter request those?

For the DHL tracking: I found out that my parents file was shipped out yesterday but when I put that date into the search by trackers reference, I don't get any results pop up. Does it perhaps take a day or so before it shows up?

Yes it goes from NH to Boston and may take a day or two to register. Thats why knowing when it left NVC is so vital. You are on your way now.

I was under the impression that if we used 2012 as the most recent tax year on the AOS, that we should take a newly revised version using 2013 information.

And do the medical results get directly forwarded to the consulate or do you have those on hand to take along to the interview?

I'll take along some proof of 'ongoing' relationship even though we are also from a low-fraud country, just in case:)

Oh, and my passport of course.

If some of the dependents are to follow the principal in a few weeks, Do they require their own brown envelope from the consulate for the POE, or are the immigrant visas in their passports enough?

Has anyone received their IL email n interview was scheduled on 5/1 or 5/2/14... I haven't received that email nor cc email. Is there cause for alarm.

Havent even received my case complete email yet.. I hope ill receive both emails by the end of this week.. but i think thats pretty normal so no alarm

I am sending him with his P4 letter, Passport, Photos, and 2013 tax info.

I don't know about the tax stuff. That is what I need help on. I could do a new I-864, but I don't have a 2013 tax transcript. I wasn't going to file taxes and then someone told me I had to so I did, but the IRS has not completed my taxes yet so I don't have a tax transcript for it. Only my W2 and the 1040 form stamped showing filed by the IRS.

Medical results are forwarded to the consulate.

Opps and I meant my 2013 tax info in my original post. Just noticed I wrote 2014.

Hi Angela,

I took a copy of everything that we had submitted to either USCIS or NVC, including a new I-864 and Tax transcript for 2013 - but I wasn't asked for any of it at either the first interview window or the actual interview itself. I only had to hand in the interview letter, my courier booking print out, my passport and the two passport style photos for the visa. In fact I was given back all me original documents and the two photo's we originally sent to NVC. I think they take the ones you take with you as they assume they are more recent in date!!

Just re-read your list - don't forget the print out of your Courier booking form!! They take this from you also - it's their proof that you have booked the return of your Passport and the MBE to you!!

My interview is on Wednesday but very glad the train strike is off, will still be leaving the house early.

Was just going through interview questions with hubby, really excited but nervous at the same time!! Only 2 days to go.

Will definitely update here after my interview.

I received my interview letter this morning and I have a question concerning my police certificate. It states you may need to bring an additional cert if its more than a year old, but then on the last page it has a checklist for document status. my police cert has O beside it which means "The NVC sent this form or document to the US Embassy."

So does this mean I do have to get another one or not? Does anyone understand what I mean? Thanks in advance

Is your PCC going to be more than a year old by the time of the interview? Then you will need a more recent PCC. Otherwise not.
