When I call NVC I always opt for English, but i know spanish, too! Maybe wait times will be shorter? :)

July 1st 2013: NOA1

January 9th 2014: Transferred to CSC

January 16th 2014: NOA2

January 24 2014: Case recieved at NVC

March 5 2014: Received case number, IIN, & BIN

So , if they don't accept the Birth cert already in the file... the last piece to this neverending puzzle has arrived at the NVC.

Either I get a case complete this week or I sit and wait til they get around to this package.

I don't have much patience lately. It will be difficult to wait. All hopes of a June interview will be gone if I have to wait. ( sigh)

If you know Spanish, I recommend pressing for the Spanish option. I'd bet with like 95% certainty the wait will be much shorter. Now, whether the Spanish operators are more competent, who knows...

For everyone who already sent your IV Package to the NVC, how did you attach you two passport photos within the package? Jw. Thanks.

I took a snack size Ziploc bag and stapled one side of it to a sheet of paper, then put the labeled photos in and sealed the bag. I labeled the paper with item description, beneficiary's info and case number.

I put them in a small envelope and wrote "beneficiary photos" on it

I totally forgot about my home-made husband photos. I can't say what the lawyer did with them or how they attached them but I didn't get checklisted for them ... so that's a good thing. I sent 6. I have no idea if they lawyer sent all of them.

by the way Soloenta is Solo in Castellano/Spanish means Only and Enta in Arabic means Yours. So OnlyYours heheee we made up our own word he is Soloenty meaning the same but for males.

That's an awesome nickname combination!

03/19/14 - Requested NVC to "join" wife's and daughter's cases
03/20/14 - AOS status "PAID" for wife
03/26/14 - AOS status "PAID" for daughter

03/28/14 - IV available and paid for both wife and daughter (in process)

make sure there are no spaces... I got that now and again when I was rushing to look. Make sure you have all 3 letters in front of the case number and make sure you have all invoice numbers. I don't mean for this to come across like you don't know what you're doing. I just remember getting that on occation because my dumb-a$$ had to rush.

04/02/2014 AOS fee paid

04/04/2014 iv fee invoiced. not able to pay yet

04/06/2014 iv fee ok to pay, still in process

04/04/2014 AOS package sent via usps express mail. but weekends hummmmm

04/07/2014 AOS package arrived to NVC ( according to USPS tracking).

04/08/2014 officer lady from NVC said that my AOS packages are received .

04/09/2014 DS 260 completed. make some name mistake. hope it will not delay my case.

04/16/2006 IV package for parents are delivered to NVC ( according to USPS tracking).

04/21/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they received my IV package today. .

​04/24/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they already accepted my AOS packages for both parents...

05/06/2014 one gentleman told me my case was completed already. (L) (L) (L)

06/11/2014 interview for my parents.

That's not one of the good error messages :no: Something's wrong with either the case number or IIN (or both).

To anyone who got their case # yesterday - can you pay the AOS & IV fees yet?

No, I have not been able to pay or complete the contact form. They couldn't take my emails over the phone as they were still entering it in the system. Good luck with your continued journey!

I was on hold for 17 minutes. Beats the 25-45 min I was doing in English.
