Congrats to you! How come it took so long from the moment you sent the checklist response? I thought they were reviewing checklist responses faster than packages?

Thank you!!!It took 14 days for them to review it. I was worried because it took so long for them to logged into their system but im glad we get good news after that..Based on what ive seen on some it usually took 2 weeks to review it either checklist or packages..and it applies to ours also from aos to iv packages..

I filed on April 12th and I'm still waiting. I can see that the IRS has it, but I have not received my refund yet, nor is my transcript available. Was yours filed electronically or manually? If Manually, it's usually not ready until June.

Manually, my husband was there yesterday and they don't have a clue when... it will be, in meantime I'll finish my stuff.

Here is what I found:

When will your tax transcripts be available?

A. If you were not required to send a payment to the IRS, your transcript information should be available two weeks after

filing electronically or eight weeks after filing by mail.

B. If you had to send the IRS a payment, your transcript should be available after May 1st if you filed electronically and

after June 1st if you filed by mail.

C. If you filed for an extension, your transcript should be available two weeks after your final return is filed.

If you do not have the transcript, you must bring a full copy of the 2013 tax return, plus any W-2s and 1099s (to prove income) with you. Be sure to sign and date the copy - even if you filed electronically.

We filled MFJ 1040A and by mail.

We submitted w2 and complete itr at nvc and some other documents like paystub and cert of employment. It is just that im not sure if i can bring along transcript during interview and if it can be available on time. do you mean that i will bring another copy for 2013 itr at interview?

We filled MFJ 1040A and by mail.

My husband filed MFJ even though i dont have any itin with the help of h and r block but then we had a doubt about it so he went to irs directly and changed it to MFS to make it simplier..now we are still waiting for the transcript.

If you have already submitted your 2013 tax return to NVC, you will not need the transcript for the interview. However, if your husband has amended his 2013 tax return, you may need to have a copy of the amended tax return (plus W-2s and 1099 copies) at the interview. Be sure to have a copy in your folder at the interview!

15 minutes on hold and my call was answered by someone speaking Spanish...???? Responded in English and he told me that he doesn't speak English. Just in case anyone was feeling confident in NVC staff
