You know, I put a yes there, as I'm in the medical field, and have not pursued licensing in the US as of yet, since the process varies from state to state, and we are considering a move once I arrive. I just thought it was important for them to note that, as the question stated, ' a health care worker... who has not yet received US credentials'. I explained in text that it would be pursued once we knew where we would reside.

But the thing is, she's not entirely sure if she's going to continue with her career in the states or pull out of it entirely and be a stay at home mom (which right now she's leaning towards). What would you do in that situation? You make a good point though.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO such thing as a dumb question with this process it's better to be safe than sorry. I think it's a good question. :D I can help many others in your same situation. (F) (F) (F)

Glad to know that! Thanks! :D

You should probably put yes, because yes she does work in the healthcare field. She might not go into when she gets here but it's better to be honest. I wouldn't risk putting no and having a problem in the future if she decides she wants to pursue a career. You can just explain the situation in the text box anyways.

I don't think the federal government would make any problems for us and would not have any say so as to whether she could enter the career field at a later date. I guess my whole problem is I don't want them thinking that she's going to the US just to work, because that's not the case at all. Saylin said in an earlier post that I could put No because the reason for immigration is not just work, like a work visa, but to be with me. Any other suggestions everyone?

I think some lucky cases got expedited or got transferred to CSC. :star:

You may get a case number at the end of this week.

I can't wait for my case number. I'll probably have to wait for 3 more weeks. :bonk:

Hi AustinCanada! I hope you do not have to wait 3 more weeks. I will keep you in my prayers I do not wish this wait on anybody...

Because all Embassies do what ever the heck they want because they can. Seems to me they are above the law! I truly feel for you and maybe a call to NVC will hurry the process it can't hurt.

A little confused, were are you in the Visa process at NVC waiting for an interview or you already had your interview waiting for Visa?

Much luck to you, I'll be praying for you and yours.

Hello Soloenta!
