So everyone is complaining that this thread is so quiet today so I thought I would make some noise..

FINALLY.... they accepted my corrected AOS and removed the Police certificate requirement. Now all I am waiting for is the supervisor to clear the birth cert.

I was told by the supervisor to call back Wednesday night... so now I wait... and for extra insurance.... a certified copy of the birth cert will be delivered tomorrow morning.

I'm so close I can taste it..

So how's that for some noise??????

guy named Rick( nice guy ) pick up my call at 9:05 ( NVC time 12:05 ). i can't believe he still pick up my call.

but still no update on my case..

he said they need 30 business day to review ..

oh well

will call again on friday..

well, that is what I thought. He said they gave him a shot in his butt and gave him antibiotic pills. He has a fever and body aches. Even I know that antibiotics won't work.... but in Costa Rica they still think you will catch a cold if you have wet hair.

Geez I know what you mean. I wouldn't take the antibiotics unless he has a lung infection which happens. So if he coughs up phlegm that is yellow or any color but clear then he can take it. This is what makes bacterias antibiotic resistant and they do it here in the USA more than not just to shut the pt up. Very bad practice.

Well I just called at 11:40 and they actually picked up past midnight (12:10) surprisingly. Max answered and he was very polite and sounded a bit tired. I asked about my IV fee again and he said a supervisor is scheduled to look into it as per my call on Friday. Unfortunately I forgot to ask how long that would take. I was too thrown off that he knew about my call on Friday lol

He also said its been paid so no need to worry. He was very reassuring

My CEAC update now that my case in "in transit" to the embassy.

Today.....Both DS-261 and DS-260 now show "On File At Post"

Oh okay... screen cap on Skype is as you go right? So each time you chat, you screen cap as well? I think Skype only allows history for the past couple of months. It never really occurred to me that I need to document my entire relationship with my husband! Haha... Anyway, this is Joanna. Ryan doesn't know about the existence of VJ!

Yeah I'm surprised they don't want 24 hour filming like a reality show. And yes I do a screen cap every time we talk on Skype just in case

they think we aren't legit. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. I never thought I had to prove anything so only been doing it for about

6 months or so. If I had known this I would have had room full of boxes with proof and who would go through this hell on purpose. I think you can

only go through this is you honestly love the other person, other wise it's just not worth it.

i called 12:05 NVC time

but no updates.

would you mind telling me when is the date that the last package that NVC received .

my last package (iv package ) was received at NVC on april 21st.

Gotta get your AOS and IV packets ready and mail them out as soon as you see "PAID" on CEAC. Saylin's Wiki is a good start to see what you need to do next. Good luck!
