hey guys a couple questions

1. On the timeline, what does returned and received mean? ie. Return completed I-864, received I-864

2. How do we know that our packet to NVC is completed, no checklist? Or do we have to call and ask.

I am assuming that with the timeline being 'old', maybe people used to get the 864 sent to them from NVC, accounting for the 'received 864 package' part. Now we just download online and do it. So I filled that in as the date I did the 864. Then of course the date you sent the 864 is the 'return completed I864'.

You call NVC to find out if your packages have been reviewed.

Hi my husband and I were approved on January 21st 2014 and we got the letter saying that it will be forwarded to NVC..... It's been over 90days and they still haven't received it and I called USCIS and they said it has been sent I'm so over this waiting game especially because we live in Australia and the time difference is close to 16hours behind us has anyone gone through something similar? I need some info if they can't give me anything :(

Have you called NVC? You just didn't specifically say you did...

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

We are doing EP as well, our signature says it all.

We did not wait to eMail the documents but rather sent our ENROLL eMail on March 27th followed by the AOS (March 31st) and IV (April 1st) packages once their respective fees were paid. At present NVCElectronic eMail is being responded to within 30 calendar days (or at least in our personal experience this is what we've found.)

The only "issue" we have encountered is that we have thus far received two false checklists, had we waited to send our IV documents we would have avoided one false checklist - Though I don't see the harm in receiving a false checklist if one understands what it represents.

Our AOS was approved or accepted on April 29th - Had we waited for approval to send our IV package it would now be in the eMail queue and likely wouldn't be acknowledged/added to our file until the end of May based upon current trends.

Thank you, I sent an email to the paralegal asking her to send everything....I don't want more delays, I miss my husband!

Yet another update from an EP filer:

As our timeline and post this morning indicate we received an eMail acknowledgement of our IV package this morning. In spite of this we received another false checklist this evening requesting our IV package. After contacting NVC it would appear that the checklist was generated yesterday at the time our AOS was approved.

Still waiting...

Received another email today saying NVC received my AOS on APRIL 1st. Don't recall sending them one on the 1st, but at least they are working on something. LOL.I want them to send me an email saying they received my IV docs. I just can't believe how much slower it is for EP than for SNAIL MAIL. People not doing EP that sent there stuff in weeks after we did are already getting case completes. If only I'd known how slow it was going to be I would mave opted for SNAIL MAIL....it's faster. LOL. Good luck. I will be watching you as you are only a few days ahead of me. I just hope by the time we get completes they are still scheduling for June interviews.

Uscis shipped our approved petition to NVC on April 18th. My husband called NVC today and they said it just arrived today. Please what's next? I just can't wait to get everything done as soon as possible. The distance apart from my spouse is really killing me.

Just got ANOTHER checklist for my AOS packet- again asking for proof of employment. Which, as I explained in the last cover letter, I don't turn in because I WORK ABROAD AND WILL QUIT MY JOB. I'm using assets for support.

I'm so glad I contacted my senator a few weeks back about the original BS checklist I got. Here's to hoping a supervisor review goes quickly. Jesus ###### christ.

I got checklisted for a similar problem. I provided my resignation letter, but the reviewer was not satisfied. I had to send in a letter directly addressing the NVC about my work status. After that, I got checklisted for a police certificate that we do not require, but we got that cleared up through a supervisor. This saved us a 2-3 month delay. We got case complete earlier this week.

07/29/2014 - NOA1

11/19/2014 - Transfer to TSC

12/19/2014 - NOA2

01/15/2014 - NVC Received (TSC held it for 3 weeks...)

02/19/2014 - Case no. and IIN assigned; requested embassy change

02/27/2014 - DS-261 available and submitted

02/28/2014 - AOS available and paid

03/19/2014 - AOS mailed

03/27/2014 - AOS entered into system

03/24/2014 - New case no. assigned

03/25/2014 - IV fee invoiced and paid

03/28/2014 - IV package sent via FedEx

04/26/2014 - case complete

06/01/2014 - passed interview

Good lord, people! Not even a full day and already on page 7?

Lotsa movements this week between case completes and interviews being scheduled. I also got my June interview, yay me!!

I swear there are zero more ways this visa BS can #### me over.

I went ahead and called NVC as I could not wait any longer. I spoke to nice guy Kevin and he cruelly put me on hold for a while only to come back and tell me.. CASE COMPLETE. What?! I'm in shock right now.

04/30/14 - Interview scheduled (yay!!)

05/02/14 - Received e-mail with P4 letters

05/07/14 - NVC shipped case files to Lima Embassy via DHL. CEAC status "In transit"

05/09/14 - DHL delivered case files to Embassy. CEAC status "Ready"
