Ok Thanks Saylin. I will have to call tonight when I get off work at 9 pm. Hopefully my hubby will know more of what is going on as well.

Sounds good  Hopefully the situation improves... and/or you get an approved expedite.

Congrats!

I just got off the phone with my case #~~ from AUTHOR!!

He told me it was entered into the system 10AM today (no case # when I called @7AM), the invoice will send out hard copy only.

Is it right? I thought you can request it from the email?

Thanks.

Call them back and verify that they have both yours and your spouse's e-mail address. They'll send the AOS invoice via e-mail (which is taking approximately a week from when the case # is issued). In the Wiki, Saylin has the website linked up where you can start logging in :)

Congrats!

Salam,

You need the IIN and case number to log in into ceac.state.gov

They should have given you both at the same time.

But anyway, most likely you will not be able to do anything yet. It takes about a week to get them started.

What you can do now is read post 1 (Saylin's post). Read the wiki she wrote and you will have answers to most if not all your questions.

After reading the wiki (very recommended), you can ask questions if you have any.

Good luck

Wa Alaykum Salam, thank u for the advice! InshAllah going to call them back.

I really hate that they tell everyone something different. Is it really that hard to figure this out? When I called about my IV fee last Friday they told me no problem they will get someone on it to fix it right away. They also told me not to email anything in and it will be done. Still nothing done yet.

They said the same thing to me. They've also said to mail in screenshots. It changes every time. My wife and I will keep praying for all of us. It gets so frustrating dealing with these people. I've been "xx business daysed" to death. At least the girl today let me know I can't fill out DS/260 yet. No #@%^.

I paid my IV fees on 4/24 still on process , I called NVC twice. 1st time they said there is a web problem, we are fixing that, second time also they gave me the same answer , I confirmed if they need any email from me. They said big NO,....I asked when this problem is going to be fixed ? They said ''we don't know; when I asked , from where I can get this answer, they said again ''we don't know''...i don't understand why they take such a long time to fix that...

Hi, I have a question that I am not sure of the answer. On the DS-260 has a question "Have you ever been issued a U.S. Visa?" As a holder of a Canadian passport never I asked the U.S. consulate for a visitor visa; I have entered the U.S. and received a stamp B-2. Is the stamp B-2 considered a Visa? I will appreciate your help. thanks

Hi, my husband called NVC, apparently a checklist is on its way. It concerns the joint-sponsor's passport. I am 100% sure I put a copy of the biographical page in the AOS package. I am so upset not to understand why we will receive this checklist. Do you think it's because I printed it in black and white?? The joint-sponsor has a dark skin, so the photo is dark. Could it be for this reason? Is there any way we can ask a supervisor to make sure the passport copy is not in the package? I am so sad, it's been more than a year and I am sick of the whole process. Any input would be much appreciated.

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

No.

The paralegal is arguing with me about this issue, she said the B-2 is a visitor visa, now I don't know what to say. Did you answer no for your DS-260 or anyone else has any input? thanks I am going nuts here....
