Alhamdulillah, I got my case number today so my question is what is next ? Do I wait for my IIN number or can I is started ?

You need the IIN and case number to log in into ceac.state.gov

They should have given you both at the same time.

But anyway, most likely you will not be able to do anything yet. It takes about a week to get them started.

What you can do now is read post 1 (Saylin's post). Read the wiki she wrote and you will have answers to most if not all your questions.

After reading the wiki (very recommended), you can ask questions if you have any.

You should have asked for it while you were on the phone.. Some operators don't like to give it to you. If you get a big fat NO, then call back.

Got email at 10:28 this morning saying NVC received and is reviewing my IV docs. Says to give them 20 business from when I sent the email with IV docs. to review it. LOL Today is 21 business since I sent the email. Guess there a little behind. LOL. But finally some movement again.

Is it too late to ask for expedite?? My husband seriously needs to get custody of his children, but without me there he has no real support system. Law enforcement and children's aid/social services are now involved. His kids seriously need out of there mothers care. I am so worried about them. There safety is potentialy at risk. I've been going nuts about this all weekend and just found out more disturbing info this afternoon. I need to be there now. Does anyone think this would be a good enough reason to expedite case complete and interview??

Or could I just go there now and come back for medical and interview or do you think that would mess anything up with my immigration.

AHHHH almost outta here so I can run to FedEx and get the dang Birth Cert and overnight it to NVC. I hope I don't need it and they just open their dang eyes... but its better to have insurance, right?

Hmm, I'm leaning more towards no. As you said, she's immigrating for a spousal visa, not work visa.

Yeah, that's my line of thinking. But you never know with these questions. If they ask her whether she intends to work as a Midwife in the US at the interview and she says Yes they could bring up her application and ask why she said No. So I'm kind of dumbfounded...maybe I should call the NVC? Think they might be of help?

Definitely worth a shot for an expedite. The worst they can say is no! Good luck. And *hugs*

If it does come up at the interview, which I doubt, then just explain honestly that she's not sure what she's going to do and that she's coming on a spousal visa and thought that question was more for those coming on a work visa.

hello everybody

i have a probleme with my case NVC, ds 261 is completed and AOS fees is paid and IV fees is still not available I have been waiting for 25 days to be available and nothing new when i call NVC they tell me to wait and wait ..

the problème is when i check timeline in visajourney they show that between aos package sent and fees show paid they wait between 3 days and 10 Days

PLEASE can someone help me what should i do ????

You're not the only one. Now they're telling me they don't control the website...it's dept. of state. Every one of these incompetent SOB's should be fired. If the had regular jobs they would be. I've called 3 times today and will try to get a supervisor after work.

I really hate that they tell everyone something different. Is it really that hard to figure this out? When I called about my IV fee last Friday they told me no problem they will get someone on it to fix it right away. They also told me not to email anything in and it will be done. Still nothing done yet.

This is probably covered somewhere but I really don't have the time to research it at the moment, have to return to work shortly..but...How would I apply or ask for my case to be expedited, do I send email??? if so to where and to who, or do I phone NVC and ask for supervisor??

I just got off the phone with my case #~~ from AUTHOR!!

He told me it was entered into the system 10AM today (no case # when I called @7AM), the invoice will send out hard copy only.

Is it right? I thought you can request it from the email?

Put $0 for both years. Don't put N/A as that question does apply, he just didn't file.

Call them up and ask them on the procedure for an expedite. They'll explain everything to you.

I had Agent Sandy. Are you asking about the Invoice number? I recevied both on the phone this morning because I asked for both.
