Hello! :star::PI have a short question. I am waiting for my DS261 to become available (I can't log in to the site yet, it gives me the typical msg "....case is not eligible for further processing...").

Could it become available during the weekend, or it only changes on business days? -_-

Maybe I shouldn't try to log in again until Monday :clock:

I already memorized my case# and IIN LOL

Well, no one answered my question, buuut I was able to log in and complete the DS261 todayy! :dancing: Soooo it can become available during the weekends :P

Just informing you all in case that somebody had the same question

Another step in the process wohoo!

We received exactly same checklist reminder this morning in Greek. LOL!!!

We had to use Google Translate to read this checklist. We sent the original checklist response same day - April 30th. I guess they do not check emails to remove the checklist and go by date to review.

That's what we did also. Do you know if it means civil docs were accepted?

When I called NVC on Friday (before this checklist) I was informed that my civil docs were reviewed and were fine. My wife did not get this checklist email ( we have two IR5 cases at NVC). Her IV docs were received and were under review.

Hope this information is helpful!

i got the same one . so i called NVC and they said just discard it. it sent because my AOS is accepted.

for DS 260, i am not sure . i called NVC 2 times and they both said they will review DS 260 when they review IV package..

so finger crossed.......

to get CC very soon hopefully next wee friday...

how do you think??

you and i have almost same timeline..

pray for you too. good luck.

Really how difficult would it be for them to change this to accepted and not scare everyone to death then fill the line with people asking if this is false or not. So much for technology. :ranting::wacko:

Just a random wee note to anyone who needs US visa photos in the Belfast area, don't bother with Snappy Snaps by the Post Office on High Street. Just go across to the Post Office and use the self-service Photo-Me booth by the front door. Its £7 for 4 US visa/passport photos and they're guaranteed, so if the embassy doesn't accept them, you get your money back.

We went today to Snappy Snaps for my husband's visa photos and for 4 less than great photos they charged £19.99. Then stopped in to post a letter and saw the booth. Absolutely furious!! The fellow at Snappy Snaps was also quite grumpy and harsh, so I was too scared to try and get our money back. £20 down the drain... :ranting:

Hi all, I had a question about AOS and the fee. My wife lives here in Canada with me so has no USA income but we'll still send one in as required. We know it'll get declined, but my step daughter in the USA is going to send one in as the joint sponsor. Do we wait until they reject the one from my wife, then send in my step daughters, or do we send them in together? Also, if we send them separate, is there a second $88 AOS fee?

Thanks!

Hello i guys i have question regarding Police certificate from Pakistan. Some are saying its required and some are saying its not required. http://travel.state.gov/content website says its not required, yet some people gotten checklist due to not sending it. ISB embassy says its required, so i am little confused on what i should do. Not send it to NVC and have my wife take it to embassy whenever her interview happens?

2nd. Foreign office attested, should the police certificate be attested by foreign office? Currently its in English, typed with police signature and my wife picture on it.

Thanks!

I think it would be best if you send them both together. You will save money on postage, you will probably save time, and it will also keep all of your information together in one place.
