GOOD NEWS - BAD NEWS-- just frustrating-

I have two cases-- Wife / Step/daughter.

When I sent in my AOS, I knew enough to send in two separate AOS(s)-- I sent them in the same envelope under the ONE Cover page after paying the AOS fee--

WHAT I DIDNT DO- was attache TWO COPIES of my income documents- so this is what happened my WIFES AOS was approved without a checklist and sent on-- they seperated my step / daughters AOS from the package and didnt attache any supporting documents so they had NO EVIDENCE-- I IMMEDIATELY sent in a second copy and it was scanned on May 22nd--

WELL TODAY I called like every other day-- and I was told CASE ONE - COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALL DONE EVERYTHING -- BUT they are HOLDING THE case for my step / daughters case to catch up now--

so case one complete-- but still stuck.. how about that!!!

OMG congrats... well you should be happy .. Now that your wife's case is complete more than likely you know your daughter's case will be complete as well with no checklist.. SO CONGRATS

Are you kidding me it's one of the most difficult languages on EARTH! Two forms or saying things the formal and the second one so no I have not just a few words. salaam alaykum, walaikum Salam. Little stuff like that I wish I would smart enough to speak Arabic but I do speak two languages fluently and can understand at least three besides those two. :D(F) (L) (F)

Egyptian Arabic is so much easier than Derija. I studied fusha for 4 years before going to morocco and I asked a shop owner in Tanjier where I could buy a camera and he looked at me and said "schno galti?" And then I knew I was in trouble...3 years later and I still only understand 80٪ of the conversation.

My Priority date was a year ago today, I paid my AOS invoice on 10 May and still can't get access to IV invoice to pay...so discouraging when people applying after me are getting interviews.... :(

At the end of this tunnel, for me at the least, I might hit the 16-17 month mark from PD. Just keep trucking along! We've endured so much for such a long time already. FIGHTING! We allll got this! Best of luck to everyone today!

I just jumped on at heathrow airport london, after a 17 hr journey back from Namibia, on way to husband, only a plane and 2 buses away, what a great thing free wifi is so that I could hear this great news!

I've already decided nothing is ever done in order. That's why people who applied over three months after me are already having their interviews and flying to the USA.

Sorry, this whole process is a huge sore spot for me. I can't wait until it's just an ugly nightmare from my past.
