Anyhow... still nothing but she told me the stupid email that shows as mail received on May 23rd will NOT have any impact on my May 8th mail and getting CC...

A litttle bummed out but its only 10am....

No news. Agent May was very friendly. She said the AOS hasn't been reviewed, she couldn't give me specifics on where they were on dates, but she said they will be reviewed "very soon" and said to keep out for either a real or false checklist (after we both acknowledged the package they received on May 16th is my IV).

I asked about interview scheduling, she says they have a capacity amount for each Embassy each month and once that capacity is reached, they close scheduling for the month and once they receive the new capacity they start scheduling for the next monh.

Sooo I asked if we miss the July cut off, who do I beg to get earlier scheduling and she said that would be through the Embassy. She acknowledged their backlog and I told her that most of us who call non-stop were caught in the USCIS backlog and we've been without our spouses for a very long time, we're tired and frustrated. She wished me a case complete soon! :-)

How many days after what? Case complete, or having the interview assigned?

Interviews are generally scheduled at certain times of month (end of one month and early into the next) with scattered exceptions. If you get case complete right now, you may have an interview notice within a matter of days. If you get case complete a week from now, you may be waiting a whole month before you receive your assignment.

When the interview is assigned, you should receive email notification within 24 hours of assignment being made, and often less. Mine was within an hour or two.

I would pee my pants then die if we got an interview so quickly!

I130 finally finally approved May 29th. So I think that means I start following this thread VERY closely.

Still doing my happy dance after finding out this morning!!

Here's a question to those of you who have submitted your supporting documents to the NVC already:

-if you did so electronically - did you scan and send in your photos using their photo tool online, or do you need to send those in physically through the mail?

I have to get my police check done next week on my day off and then I'll have all my documents collected. Do they still require you to send physical photocopies if you are scanning and emailing?

So my case was completed on May 21 and I have been waiting for it to be shipped to the consulate. Today I decided to call NVC and find out if I will have a different story just before the NVC Filers June 2014 thread. Zilch! same story.... waiting for the embassy to schedule. I am optimistic - again gut feeling - that June is the big one. The lady at the other end just said that we will be notified thirty days ahead once the embassy schedules. So should I wait for the notification or call after couple days? Any takers?. Appreciate it.

It won't be sent to the consulate until AFTER an interview date has been assigned.

Not sure what photo tool you're referring to, but if you sign up for EP, you have to send everything by email, not snail mail. That answers your second question as well. You just scan everything and email it to them. Please read the EP wiki I wrote, linked in my signature below.

I'll let you know. Everything I saw on the spreadsheets looks like everyone else got scheduled around 3 weeks max. I asked the guy why it's taking so long and he just gave me the same answer he gives everybody.

My Priority date was a year ago today, I paid my AOS invoice on 10 May and still can't get access to IV invoice to pay...so discouraging when people applying after me are getting interviews....

Hey Saylin I had my case complete and just updated my timeline. Question is do you manually move the cases or does completing the timeline move the case to the upper completed section of the spreadsheet? Just curious.
