The rumor is they are working overtime, but the customer service agents are not available during the weekend.

operator told me last night that they are working OT incluing Saturday. Hopefully they get some serious work done tomorrow. Operator did say they really got alot done yesterday.... Obviously they forgot to review my mail !! GRRRRRRRR

My husband thinks we should hear something by next Wednesday. I think we might hear something by Monday night ( since they are working OT) Our new friendly little bet is that if we hear something on Monday, My husband pays for dinner and drinks at a restaurant of my choice and if we hear Wednesday, I have to pay for dinner and drinks at the restaurant of his choice. The catch is.... if he wins, I have to drink Imperial with him, If I win, he has to drink shots of tequila with me..... Neither one of us are really drinkers. I hate beer and he hates tequila.... Just trying to make light of this ridiculous situation. I can't wait to go to the interview. I miss him terribly.

when do you usually get the email with the interview date (how many days after)?

How many days after what? Case complete, or having the interview assigned?

Interviews are generally scheduled at certain times of month (end of one month and early into the next) with scattered exceptions. If you get case complete right now, you may have an interview notice within a matter of days. If you get case complete a week from now, you may be waiting a whole month before you receive your assignment.

When the interview is assigned, you should receive email notification within 24 hours of assignment being made, and often less. Mine was within an hour or two.

wow one month :( thats a long wAIT wonder if ill have to wait that long once i get my case complete, hope you get something soon, let me know when you do. i wonder if they're scheduling for july.

I'll let you know. Everything I saw on the spreadsheets looks like everyone else got scheduled around 3 weeks max. :( I asked the guy why it's taking so long and he just gave me the same answer he gives everybody.

I130 finally finally approved May 29th. So I think that means I start following this thread VERY closely.

Still doing my happy dance after finding out this morning!!

Welcome and Congrats ! Start off by reading the NVC wiki in the first post of this thread. You can add your name to the spread sheet too. There is a link for adds and updates.

Saylin will probably start a new thread today or tomorrow so make sure you hop over there. The NVC process starts a new thread every month. Its not like the USCIS process where you stick with the month you filed.

It will be easier to keep up with this thread when the new one starts.

I usually create it on the last day of the month. So, probably tomorrow morning (as my husband's grandma is coming up for the day and I'll be away until night).
